A comfortable, quiet breakfast room with a superb breakfast and freshly ground coffee. We booked a room with a view and were delighted with the spectacular vista. Exceptionally friendly and super clean I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Camariñas, in the north of Spain. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—always ready to help and very accommodating. The hotel was also spotless—everything was super clean and clearly well looked after. It made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Galicia and looking for great hospitality in a peaceful setting!

The cabins are beautiful, spacious and really well equipped - we were very comfortable. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and our children loved playing in the play area and seeing all the animals - the rabbits, ducks, pony, chickens. We loved having the swimming pool so nearby - the children had so much fun there and there were floats they could use to help them swim. The owners are really welcoming and friendly. They were brilliant with our children and we loved speaking to them. We also really enjoyed having the restaurant just a couple of mins walk away with another great play area for the children. I would highly recommend!

Fisterra is a quaint, small fishing town, with regular daily catches. So near the harbour is does smell of fish but many of the local restaurants have a great reputation for sea food. There are several great places to walk for the day; coastal paths, beaches (Fora, & Arnela) are a good walk (3-6 miles) but really worth it. Stunning scenery.

This is a lovely little town with a cosy feel tucked in 2 kms from the cape at the end of the peninsula. It has a magnificent long white sandy beach with pristine waters and a smaller sandy beach near the port. Lots of eateries and cafes, and an all-round feeling of joy and relief among the visitors who have just ended their camino. I have been twice and loved it both times.

Lires is a lovely little village in a great location. There are lots of good walks you can take around the area, the Camino de Santiago runs through it. The beach is nice and there is a bar / restaurant there. There are several good bars and restaurants in the village and it is only a few kilometres from Cee where there are plenty of supermarkets and several banks.

We loved Camariñas, which we found to be the perfect base for exploring Galicia and the Costa da Morte. A pretty little fishing village and lightly touristed, the food was very good, of course fresh seafood, and hiking directly from the town on the Camiño dos Faros was excellent, yet we found to be surprisingly lightly trafficked for such a pretty coast. Further excursions both north and south were also available with scenic good roads, and for us included Cabo Fisterra, about 40 minutes away.

If you are looking for a quiet, seaside town with all the amenities, Laxe is a good place to visit. It has nice bars and cafes and a couple of small supermarkets. The nature and peaceful setting was exceptional. It is a perfect place to go on hikes along the coast or to enjoy an afternoon at the beach. It is a paradise for bird lovers along the marshes of the Anllons river onto the ocean. You can ideally explore the towns nearby along La Costa de la Muerte. Carmen and Juan are great hosts. Lovely place to base a few days in the area.
