What is not to like? Large Seaview balconies with a beautiful pool surrounded by cabanas and views. We were cycling from Malaga to wherever we end up and at 63€ per night including a buffet breakfast , this was cheaper and much more enjoyable than most other hotels in run down state We had stayed in for same price! Wonderful staff and location!

Excellent location just across the road from the beach. The hotel was spotlessly clean with well appointed room/bathroom and superb comfortable bed. The restaurant whilst a little noisy was clean and spacious with a fine selection of good quality food. The bars were well stocked and well staffed. The pools and pool areas were clean and had ample room. Lifts were efficient with little or no waiting. The entire hotel was clean and spacious, and a credit to ALL the wonderful staff.

We especially appreciate always helpful staff - in the reception, restaurant, in our room, in the swimming pool area. The quality and the choice of food in the restaurant ( full board) was unbeatable. We could park in front of the hotel free of charge which is mostly exceptional in the Spanish beach hotels. We enjoyed free afternoon coffee in the bar as well. Staying a week in this hotel was really a good choice

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were happy to give us recommendations for dinner in Las Negras and they were great. The hotel is well located and we had asked for a double with sea view and got that. The room has a lovely terrace which was great for relaxing when we were in. The pool is lovely and great when the beach was too windy. We would definitely stay again when in this area.

Almería city is compact and easy to get around on foot.

Almería city is compact and easy to get around on foot. It is very Spanish, something that as a Spanish-speaker I appreciate. In addition to the places usually highlighted in guides, we very much enjoyed el Museo del Realismo Español Contemporáneo which had two temporary exhibitions in addition to its excellent permanent collection. The Enclave Arqueológico de la Puerta de Almería is also worth a visit to view the excavated gate and walls of the early Moorish city, together with some interesting Roman remains. The range of restaurants available is huge. Our favourites were La Consentida Braseria; Restaurante Quatro Hojas, and Almedina Baraka (close to the Alcazaba).

Where we stayed the beach was great.

Where we stayed the beach was great. The promenade is long and has a cycle path throughout. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Four in particular stood out: 1. Bodega Patio Salao, 2. Restaurant Alinea, 3. Spice Hut Indian and 4. La Lola Restobar. A Spar supermarket is ideal for shopping with an extensive butchers counter.

Aguadulce is a nice district; the hotel is not far from a supermarket, not far from the beach and not far from a taxi stand to go to airport of Almeria. The road which leads from Almeria to Aguadulce is in very good conditions. The Tourist Office is very helpful. The park is clean, well kept and has very interesting tropical and hot weather plants and flowers. There is plenty to explore if one wishes to move around... bars and cafeterias have a good variety of offerings.

Las Negras is a small and unspoiled village.

Las Negras is a small and unspoiled village. Everyone was welcoming and friendly and although it was predominantly Spanish speaking, communication was relatively easy. There is plenty to do around the immediate area of Las Negras with unspoilt beaches and water based activities but we also enjoyed trips to Almeria, Carboneras and Mojacar, all of which are worth seeing. We had a really lovely time.

Almeria was so unexpected we have passed through on many occasions and didn't realise what we were missing. The people of Almeria are among the friendliest I have ever met in a City or anywhere for that matter. We can not wait to return and explore as much as we can. Because of our circumstances we mainly ate in the hotel. But we did on several occasions eat out. There is a very good Asian and a very good Spanish restaurant very close by and a lovely friendly cafe across the road from the hotel. For those like fast food the 5min walk to the Mediterranean Shopping Centre would make you very happy. There is an excellent bus service to travel around the city.
