We chose the Atlantic Sunset resort to celebrate an anniversary. We just wanted to relax, enjoy the sun and warmth, and eat good food. Mission accomplished! We chose the Privilege option in order to have access to a specialty restaurant and the rooftop infinity pool that overlooks the sea - and the choice was worth the extra cost. The check-in process as well as responding to our various questions were all handled in a relaxed, efficient, personable manner. Our room was a junior suite with lots of space and a generous balcony from which we enjoyed a sea and land view. While we favored the rooftop pool, there were a few other very nice pools as well. The so-called Privilege restaurant offered a lovely fine-dining menu, and the staff were terrific. There are mostly other hotels and apartment buildings in the immediate neighborhood, but there is some pleasant retail too, and a very nicely landscaped waterfront promenade. We were very happy with our stay because our goal was to relax in a nice resort.

This is easily the most comfortable hotel my girlfriend and I have ever stayed at! Upon check-in, the staff was extremely helpful, storing our bags before our room was ready and offering us champagne—a nice touch. When we entered our room, we were amazed by how comfortable it felt. The bed was just right—not too hard, not too soft—and there was a mini fridge as well. The rooms are relatively quiet, though not completely soundproof. In the morning, the breakfast spread was incredible! They offered fresh fruit, made-to-order eggs, a salad bar, pickled veggies, a fondue station, crepes, meats, cheeses—basically, anything you could want. By the pool, the sun beds were comfortable and plentiful, so we never had to compete for a spot in the sun. The pool temperature was perfect, and the drinks at the bar were excellent. I recommend the Piña Colada; it was very refreshing and a good size. Parking costs about $16 a day and is conveniently located next to the hotel, with a night guard watching the entrance and the front door. Overall, this resort exceeded my expectations, and I'm so glad we chose to stay here!

Our family is the 2nd time in Tenerife. We traveled to TNS Airport and from there we rented a car to facilitate travel around the island. LOCATION: Since we had a car, I cannot say if the location is good or bad (from perspective of people with limited mobility (e.g. people that needs public transportation or taxi), but from our subjective perspective: - The view towards the Ocean was simply amazing (for me was bonus of the morning routine) - The travel from AMARILA Golf Residence towards any beach was very short time spending - Parking outside the hotel facilities is free (but outside the hotel is equivalent to parking inside the hotel :-) being a literally 3 steps between the 2 parking lots) BREAKFAST: The type of breakfast (served at the table) is simply amazing. - Fruits ..... Fresh pastry ...... various breads ...... madelaines ..... croissants ........ - Eggs of any type you can dream on..... Simply ask Pedro and you will get it. (sorry for not mentioning other colleagues but I am bad at names :-(......but all of them are amazing...... I love this model of breakfast more than buffet simply because the wasting gets minimized and most of the people usually taking more than they eat.. POOL: The pool is not fascinating me as I have one at home and for us the trip to sea side is for the sea itself. However, we spent 2 partial days at the pool with kids and friends and is amazing. Again, subjectively talking: - 1.40m height 20 x 5m pool can get you the perfect size for both kids and people they want to practice - some people says that water is cold in the ocean: for us was as we want it :-) - some people says that pool is cold: for us was PERFECT TEMPERATURE. Is very important to read the review through the eyes of the user ....... ROOM: CLEAN....HUDGE... The hotel is new and if they will manage to keep it as is now, t will surpass many hotels in the island very fast.     After reading so many bad reviews about Los Olivos we were worried about this place. But it EXEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS and it was a pleasent surprise! Everything was perfect! First of all the check in was at 03.00 pm but they gave us the room earlier without extra charges, that was realy nice after such a long trip we were exhausted, after that we enjoyed free welcoming drinks at Margaritas rooftop. The room was large and bright, all the facilities we needed were already in the room. The location was perfect- close to the beach and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable, the room was super clean and there was a large balcony, qute place for a good night rest. We were stayng only 1 nigt but we made a reservation for another 3 nights! See you soon Los Olivos :)

If your visit extends for more than 4 days it might be more interesting to move closer to your sightseeing points (example: 3 nights in Santa Cruz, 3 in Puerto de la Cruz, 3 in Playa del Duque - that's what I would have done if I knew how much time I'd spend driving).

    The area is perfect for all ages

    The area is perfect for all ages It is desired by adults for the wonderful view it offers. The long walks with the different terraces that invite you are a dream. The important thing is that the beach is public everywhere and is not private. Accommodations have very good prices. 4-star hotels are around 120 euros per night. For young people there is nightlife with parties on the seashore. Food is for all tastes. - there are higher prices for quality food as well as lower prices. The menu of the day costs 13 euros.

    Santa Cruz de Tenerife doesn’t have much of nightlife, almost everything was closed at 21:30-22:00 and there were no people outside either we were on the center of the town or near the plaza. BUT, The island in general is worth it. If you can get outside and go see other towns - villages, it is definitely worth it and be prepared for breathtaking sights, views and amazing monuments. There are a lot sightseeings worth visiting, but Santa Cruz de Tenerife on its own is just not worth it that much (and the parking there is literally impossible)

    We stayed 4 nights in LC and 7 nights in Adeje. LC- It’s gone down hill. Streets are tired. People begging. One gentleman I spoke to had his gold chain ripped off his neck in broad daylight while walking with his family. (He was with his wife, daughter and grandson). Wouldn’t go back to LC- Adeje is far more upmarket, nicer and safer. Stayed in Gran Tacande

    Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Local supermarket very handy. Quiet for those that don't like hustle and bustle of a lively resort. Would recommend the Lava Beach Cafe in Golf Del Sur for breakfast or lunch. Also the Wild Geese pub for drinks and food

    Puerto de Santiago is a very lovely and quiet town, perfect for those who prefer peaceful places over busy tourist spots. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay – shops, cafés, and all the essential amenities. I especially recommend Café Am Eck – a wonderful place with great atmosphere and delicious food. The Playa de la Arena beach is beautiful and well-maintained. Puerto de Santiago is located on the western coast of Tenerife, and that’s part of its magic – you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets as the sun slowly disappears into the ocean, with a stunning view of La Gomera island on the horizon.

    The city consists of three parts.

    The city consists of three parts. The historic part with beautiful and charming streets. The villa part with beautiful gardens, trees, houses, and the part where people live tightly and where the most is happening. Lots of street culture, lots of cultural attractions. Lots of opportunities for good food.

    As my husband is not very mobile, El Medano is ideal as it is mainly flat and easy to walk. There is a wooden boardwalk along the sea front. Restaurants, shops a large square and a childrens' play area are all within easy reach.
