It was the second hotel I tried in Finland and, just like the first one, everything was fantastic. The room was VERY clean, equipped with a coffee machine + kettle, the bed very comfortable, the sheets great. Several pillows of several dimensions, so the guest can choose whatever suits them best. It was easy to find and had a great underground parking which, in -34 degrees C, was most welcome. Most importantly, the staff was very kind to my dog :) The restaurant onsite, an Italian trattoria, was also quite nice.

Boutique Hotel Yöpuu is housed in a 1920s building in central Jyväskylä, 500 metres from Jyväskylä Station. It features a gourmet restaurant, wine bar, as well as free WiFi.

Simple and decent hotel, with all-you-need in there for a budget. Skip the human contact and the reception, skip the breakfast, and you have everything: a large and clean room, microwave oven, water-heat-can, tea and coffe, glasses, bathroom, air conditioning and so on. It was a great solution (a less luxurious one), but more than decent if you only need the basics. Fair for the money, simple and with no surprises.

Finlandia Hotel Alba is situated by Lake Jyväsjärvi in Mattilanniemi, just 1.5 km away from Jyväskylä city centre. It offers free parking and rooms with private bathrooms and TV.

very good and child-friendly hotel. Very nice SPA, very good saunas and pools with very warm water. Our best experience with a Finnish hotel on this trip (5 days and 4 different hotels) I will gladly come back next time. P.S. very tasty breakfast.
