The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Also the view out of the window was really nice, where you can see the old church lit up at night. The wifi was very good and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast we took in the included restaurant was very good and delicious with served ginger cakes made by the owners. All in all a good choice and we will definitely choose again when we are in the area again.

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was exceptional. Spotlessly clean room, air conditioning that worked well (what a relief with 38C outside!), we slept a solid 10 hours and had an amazing breakfast the following day. We would stay here again without hesitation.

    The most beautiful surroundings, full of personal touches at absolutely every level that emphasise the branding of Georges Blanc. Interesting personal touches abound the property and actually its nearby town. Gastronomically speaking, it is at the very top, and my last stay allowed us to enjoy easily the best Chateaubriand ever. I am sure that this food as well as the experience are especially enhanced by the fact that Monsieur Blanc still diligently is present throughout. His work; that earned a rating at Michelin star level; is clearly evident.

    an excellent room on the first floor (as requested due my wife's ill health) dinner on the terrace by the edge of the river was very good value - the young ladies doing the service were impeccable in every respect breakfast is generous but take your own teabags - Earl Grey only on offer!     A very pleasant town, clean and lively, lots of places to eat, markets and supermarkets to find food, excellent public transportation, in a beautiful area, and close to both Lyon and Geneva. The Monastere Royale was very interesting and well worth a visit.

    It is a perfect location for someone who wants to live close to Geneva. It is very peaceful and quiet, although it's developing fast. It's my perfect location, close to the mountain tracks and ski slopes. Great pubs and delicious croissants. There is everything one may need and much cheaper than in Geneva.

    I don't recommend the room was so tiny even 1-person can't stay. In the room picture they mentioned 3 beds, but it was bunker bed. Travelling was big issue and no public transport available in time and i cont. get uber many times. It was my worst experience.

    We had a long journey and this hotel happened to be in the area we decided to stay over night. We wanted a good value hotel that was clean. We wanted comfortable beds and a nice shower for the morning. We needed free and secure parking. This hotel ticked all the boxes. There was nothing we didn’t like.

    I was there for only 12 hours.

    I was there for only 12 hours. I stayed there when en route from Paris to Geneva, because accommodation in Geneva is very expensive. Bellegarde-s-V seems to be a very good centre for visiting Geneva, Annecy and other places.

    Location was very good. Very close to the bus stop and the bus which took me right up to Cornavin. Very scenic and quiet place. Breakfast at the hotel a bit limiting, though the dinner was very good.

    Really loved the calm, clean and peaceful atmosphere of the town. Extremely clean everywhere. We loved the cathedral and would have liked to have had more time to see the Monastery- we only had time to drive out to take a look at it on our way out of Bourg-en-Bresse. Pretty cafes and restaurants near the theatre, and lots of beautiful old buildings. We enjoyed watching everyone in the main square, where the fountains and play area for the children were. Very safe and relaxing, also as it was a pedestrian area. One night was a bit too little time, as we only arrived at 4pm.

    Bus 60 (formaly known as "F") and 61 will take you back/forth to Geneva and Palias des Nations within 10-15 minutes, and to Cornavin train station in about 20 minutes (obviously also depends on the traffic). Bus 66 connect to Geneva airport (Swiss side) in less than 10 minutes
