I truly recommend it! also you have shuttle to Courchevel 1850 even at late evening . and also lift but you need to walk about 10 min there and it is open until 23 45 . ski room is good enough but the boxes are not closed with the key . but you have ski in and out

The location of this hotel is superb, it is a 1 minute walk from restaurants, bars, bowling alley and the shuttle bus for the village. The hotel shuttle bus is so convenient and a fantastic service in the morning. The breakfast is also superb and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The ski slopes in the area are magical, we couldn’t recommend this area and hotel more.

We spent 4 very pleasant nights; the cabin is very well located and has everything you need to enjoy your time when you come back from hiking. The town of Saint Gervais is close by, so you can easily go out for dinner in the evening. The kitchen is fully furnished and equipped, so you can have a snack. We slept perfectly — it’s quiet and the bed is very comfortable. Marina is very kind and lovely, and we thank her. The coffee is good, so you can start your day perfectly. We felt very good.     We were greeted at the Hotel Alpina by an efficient and courteous reception team, and experienced excellent customer service from all departments throughout our stay. The Oxalis restaurant exceeded our expectations and the Chef was very accommodating at tweaking the half-board set menu to suit family allergies. The menu is available in reception each afternoon to review ahead of the evening sitting. Every dish was beautifully presented and made for a fine dining experience; the selection of desserts and cheeses was also exceptional. The Breakfast buffet was extensive and we were spoilt for choice. The restaurant staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Our family suite was spacious comprising 2 rooms with an interconnecting door and a shared entrance, bathroom and balcony. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a separate coat rack at the entrance of the suite. Large radiators in both rooms and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The Housekeeping service was excellent. We had chosen the hotel due to it's location and restaurant reviews. The Spa had not been a key factor, but turned out to be one of the highlights. The pool area and jacuzzi area was popular with families, and a separate adults (plus supervised children > 12 yrs) area comprising a pool incorporating specific water-massage zones; a shower trio of cold, mist and warm showers; an ice fountain and hammam were a treat. The upstairs sauna and relaxation room were also welcome finds. The hotel has a relaxing Bar area with a selection of large comfortable sofas, armchairs and coffee tables. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and was enjoyed by individuals, couples, and groups alike whether playing board or card games, reading or socialising. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alpina and would definitely return. Highly recommended.

    Quiet, clean, luxurious true 5* hotel in Megeve. Close to the village centre but enough outside to be quiet. We stayed for a week with half board - both breakfast and dinner were every time full marks. Cannot find anything to fault with this lovely hotel but what really made it stand out to other 5* hotels -around the world really - was amazingly friendly, helpful and professional staff. Made us feel so welcomed. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

He went out of his way to prepare a breakfast for us to take when we had a very early checkout. We loved the amazing restaurants and buffet breakfast. We also enjoyed the spa treatments.

    Absolutely Stunning Chamonix — A Must-Visit Destination! Chamonix is absolutely stunning — a truly beautiful mountain town surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Wherever you look, the views are incredible, from the snow-capped peaks of Mont Blanc to the charming streets filled with cafés, shops, and friendly locals. There’s so much to do here. I visited in September and it was beautiful. The area is perfect for skiing, hiking, or simply taking in the amazing alpine atmosphere. The Aiguille du Midi cable car is an unforgettable experience, offering views that feel almost otherworldly. The town itself has a wonderful mix of energy and relaxation — you can spend the morning exploring the mountains and the afternoon enjoying a drink or meal in one of the many great restaurants. Everything feels alive yet laid-back at the same time. Chamonix truly has something for everyone — adventure, charm, and beauty all in one place. I can’t wait to return!

    We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our...

    We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our grandaughter thirty-six years after we took her mother. The Parc delivered, with Chamois, Mouflon and Marmots to enjoy. The views from accommodation on that side of the valley are the best in the valley. In Les Houches village, the local patisserie was visited and a different cake enjoyed every day. There were plenty of paths (including Tour de Mont Blanc) into the forest, for walks from the chalet. Wonderful Alpine wildlife is easy to find. It was convenient to take the free train into Chamonix and take a ride to Le Brevent then walk the ridge and back to the chalet. We did the Mer de Glas, to from Chamonix. We went up to Bellevue on the teleferique and walked across the alp, finding several wild flowers and even a rare Wart-Biter Grasshopper! We then took the Tramway du Mont Blanc down to Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains and had a lovely afternoon in the beautiful park. There was a very tough Via Ferrata for the over 70s (with 50 years experience) and a Go Ape-type circuit with a rock-climb included in the trail for the 10-year-old and her Mamma, then train back to Les Houches. One weekend evening was lively down in the village, but up on the hill we could sit out in relative calm and stare at the sunset on snowy Mont Blanc, stars and the torch-lights of mountaineers picking their way down. All-in-all, very relaxing.

    The apartment is very accommodating.

    The apartment is very accommodating. We spent a lot of time there as there was a heat wave and with four people it was just right. It has a good kitchen and two bathrooms so nobody got in each others way. Very close to the centre of Bourg and close to restaurants in the area. We will have no trouble booking again if we are in that area. As there was only four people in our group it was great but it says it is for eight people and that would be a squeeze as there are bunk beds in some rooms. Otherwise thank you for making it a nice place to stay and my transporter fitted in the underground car park with no trouble. definitely recommend as all the people in my group would.

    The hotel’s location was convenient because it was close to the tram station for Mont Blanc. We could enjoy the relaxing private jacuzzi as it is reserved. There is an elevator (or cable car) for 200m to reach the thermal spa facility at the foot of the mountain

    Very charming, beautiful village of Megève! Lot's of excellent restaurants and shopping. Skiing near by. Great slopes for all levels. Great practice slopes for beginners. Very relaxing, breathtaking views.

    It's a very nice little town.

    It's a very nice little town. I was mainly for cycling, there are plenty of options nearby. I loved the place for that. I will go back next year. We ate kebabs and pizza in the surrounding restaurants, and sometimes we cooked in the apartment. We did not use public transport, or traveled by car or bicycle. There is a kebab place two corners down, the maxi tacos, you have to try them, they are very delicious.

    La Clusaz is ok but not great.

    La Clusaz is ok but not great. It's low so snow is unreliable. It is relatively cheap for lift passes. There are no taxis available any more so getting round town in really hard! It's a very tame resort. Very hard to get into a restaurant on a weekend evening.

    We travelled to Le Bourg-d'Oisans in late May for a cycling trip. The weather was cool to warm, the cycling was fantastic, and the roads were mostly free of traffic. The village is attractive, with a great Saturday market and a good selection of food venues.

    It is a great place to visit. the view on Mont Blanc was impressive. you have to be lucky to get up Aiguille de Midi as access is totally depending on weather conditions. Tourist office is extremely helpful. Lots of places to eat a big variety of food. A lot of shops with whatever you might need for a holiday in the outdoors. very nice icecream places

    Pros: The chalet is spacious, well located, and looks just like the photos. Beautiful surroundings. Cons: Very expensive for the experience. Out of 10 days, 5 with no hot water. Support was unresponsive (calls ignored, WhatsApp replies delayed). With small children this was very hard.
