Great little hotel with amazing facilities and very friendly staff. The pool is perfect with lots of indoor and outdoor seating as well as games for the kids. There's also a sauna area and a gym with new equipment. The outdoor area is also nice with a little play area, a trampoline, picnic benches as well as, surprisingly enough, a pen with wallabies inside. We ate dinner at the restaurant: great quality and value for money. The breakfast was also good with lots of choice including fresh OJ.

This is an amazing choice when you are passign throug and need a place to crash for one night. The entire motel is an architectural masterpiece. I doesnt just look good it works great as well. The beds are comfortable and rooms are equipped with everything you'd need. We will definitely stay there next time we will be driving through. 10/10

Small Region With a Big Soul

Known as the birthplace of Joan of Arc, the Vosges region is situated in the east of France and named after the Vosges mountain range. It’s one of the original departments created during the French Revolution.

It is easy to find on the way, it is very well placed, at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and other interest points. Facilities 🛏 : The hotel offers nice cozy rooms with or without view to the lake. I have chosen a room with a stunning view to the lake and mountains 🏞. In the room you have a small fridge, a kettle, shower, toilet, and balcony. In the hallways, you will find water dispensers. The hotel has a private parking space 🚘 and a heated pool. You will receive a nice card holder with the access card for the room, the password for the internet, and the code to enter the building after 23:00. Extra services🪔: the hotel offers SPA services (sauna, hamam, jacuzzi🛁) for an extra charge and with reservation🕔. They also offer massage 👐 or beauty services through an external provider. You can also choose to take breakfast 🥞🥖🥚🍶☕️there for an extra charge.     Peak season in La Bresse is probably in winter, but summer stays are equally attractive especially for people who like nature and hiking in the beautiful mountains. There are several possibilities on how to access Route de Cretes which provide access to all hiking locations. There is a well equipped supermarket and all other standard tourist infrastructure.

    its a very basic hotel. good eniugh for an overnight stay on a long drive. there is a large supermarket in walking distance and a microwave and 2 ovens in the unmanned lobby. i was lucky to have my phone in my hand to take a picture of the door code on the check-in terminal because the little printer had run out of paper.

    Beautiful town with a lake that has stunning views. We also saw young children ski jump. Plenty of restaurants in and around the town. Only 7 mins drive to Gerardmer. The road from there to Colmar offers spectacular scenery.

    Epinal is a lovely small French town. We were driving through and stopped for a weekend. There are lovely places to visit nearby as well, like the Thermal baths of Vittel/Contrexeville with their beautiful park, Nancy with the stunning Place Stanislas, Mirecourt the town of the Violin......

    La Bresse is a picturesque small French town with all the facilities you would expect (supermarket, bakeries, butchers, swimming pool etc.). The ski area is a c. 10 minute drive from La Bresse. There is a ski bus to and from the town but we did not use it and did not see others using it, but were assured that it did exist! The ski area is perfect for beginners and early intermediates looking to build confidence. More experienced skiers would probably be frustrated by the limited area (only one black run). Its low altitude means lots of very attractive tree lined pistes. Also floodlit evening skiing is available (additional lift pass required).
