We liked everything about this property! Staff very polite and helpful. Room very clean, fantastic and comfortable bed which was very needed as we were travelling. Big and clean bathroom. The whole building was very neat and new. We were very lucky to stay at this property. Breakfast in the morning was like a cherry on top of everything - croissants and bread freshly baked for us, fantastic meats and cheeses, fruits, yogurts, tea and coffee.there was just 2 of us but we were told to move to the bigger table as the breakfast was so big. Thank you chez Agnes !

We booked at very short notice, but were given clear instructions and immediate access to a clean, well proportioned and modern Room Excellent shower, air conditioner and small fridge. Comfortable bed with great linen and towels Breakfast was on time, fresh and delicious.

from the moment we arrived we could not have had a better experience. The physical building is beautiful, the rooms are very well equipped. fabulous linen, comfy bed. the staff were incredibly accommodating. we were late arriving and had a dinner reservation but they happily encouraged us to take time for an aperitif on the terrace. nothing was rushed. the restaurant is the jewel in the crown. absolutely exceptional local produce beautifully cooked and an amazing array of wine to choose from. an incredible experience from start to finish.

The location is absolutely lovely,calm and bucolic. The room was spotless clean and the WiFi was available without problem. The restaurant has an excellent choice of fine meals , and the staff was kind and friendly. We even extended the stay one more night and clearly, we will come back later on the Summer, a true Gem!!! And "Biscuit", the house's puppy dog is hilarious!

This is an amazing choice when you are passign throug and need a place to crash for one night. The entire motel is an architectural masterpiece. I doesnt just look good it works great as well. The beds are comfortable and rooms are equipped with everything you'd need. We will definitely stay there next time we will be driving through. 10/10

    Lots to do in the lovely city of Metz.

    Lots to do in the lovely city of Metz. The Cathedral was absolutely stunning and so was the Museum cour d’Or - extremely impressive not only for its collection of varied artefacts but it was so well laid out with explanatory information in multiple languages, including English - and it was free! Lots of wonderful places to eat too - had a great meal at La Table with a warm and friendly host serving us.

    disappointed in the ski area: lots of lifts are not functioning, despite enough snow and vacation period, including the second larger cable lift. as a consequence, in case of good weather, extremely long waiting lines.

    I liked the ability to walk a relatively short distances in Verdun, to a wide variety of Cafes and restaurants, and monuments. I liked the variety of restaurants near or along the water front. Also, by car, it is a short drive to major Verdun museums and battle grounds and American cemeteries in the area. So munch to see and comprehend.i would have loved staying longer, but only had a two weeks to see other destinations as well. Also, It will be best rent a car at the Charles De Gaulle airport.

    Lovely French city close to the Luxembourg and German border. The old time is picturesque giving Spanish vibes. There are few farmers markets on the weekends that provide expansive range of local produce. Lots of cafes, bakeries and walks to take. Easy access to the waterfront for a lovely stroll or run. It was more than what we expected.

    Room was spacious, bed good. The area offered proper greens to walk with the dog. Plenty of quick bites around in the area at walking distance. However, the hotel itself is a bit outdated - but not in a bad way.

    Peak season in La Bresse is probably in winter, but summer stays are equally attractive especially for people who like nature and hiking in the beautiful mountains. There are several possibilities on how to access Route de Cretes which provide access to all hiking locations. There is a well equipped supermarket and all other standard tourist infrastructure.

    We stopped for a night and that was fine.

    We stopped for a night and that was fine. If you are alone, it is a nice place to stop for a night or two. Beds are clean and I also saw that in fact they do change all the bed sheets when people check out which is great! Breakfast covers basics like bread, cheese, butter, coffee, croissant, some eggs and bacon, yogurt and apple, cereal and dry oats. Breakfast felt like first come first serve, once things finish it did not get replenished. We were surprised the bread was stale. If you are with the family, rooms are too small. There is one chair in the room for someone to sit and that’s about it. You have to hang out on the bed as there is no other space. Rooms are small so getting around is a bit hard especially if you have active kids who like running around. Bathroom is tiny but water pressure is great. There is not much to do around but there is McDonald’s and Burger King and two massive supermarkets( lidl and another French one) if you are on time to enjoy them. Parking was free and they have a nice cat meeting you at the door.

    An overnight stop on our way further north. Fabulous son et lumiere in the main square. A street full over good restaurants to choose from. Stayed at the Hotel Litteraire Stendhal, which was very nicely done and minutes walk from the main square.
