The location is absolutely lovely,calm and bucolic. The room was spotless clean and the WiFi was available without problem. The restaurant has an excellent choice of fine meals , and the staff was kind and friendly. We even extended the stay one more night and clearly, we will come back later on the Summer, a true Gem!!! And "Biscuit", the house's puppy dog is hilarious!

We were travelling on a long car journey and this provided a perfect place to stop for the night to break the journey. It was conveniently located just off the motorway and is one 24 hours so no issue regarding arriving late to get your room. Secure and amply parking and spotless rooms and beds. Breakfast was incredible with wonderful selection of fresh produce. Excellent value for money and wonderful for pets. Staff were incredible friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend for a place to break a long journey

    A wonderful exhibition space in the heart of the Pompidou Center. Be sure to plan lunch at UME, the museum’s restaurant, it’s incredibly delicious! Don’t miss the 6,500 square meters of unique stained glass in the cathedral, created by Marc Chagall and Jacques Villon-absolutely breathtaking.

    Lovely French city close to the Luxembourg and German border...

    Lovely French city close to the Luxembourg and German border. The old time is picturesque giving Spanish vibes. There are few farmers markets on the weekends that provide expansive range of local produce. Lots of cafes, bakeries and walks to take. Easy access to the waterfront for a lovely stroll or run. It was more than what we expected.

    Room was spacious, bed good. The area offered proper greens to walk with the dog. Plenty of quick bites around in the area at walking distance. However, the hotel itself is a bit outdated - but not in a bad way.

    the photos on booking of the hotel were totally different from the reality the receptionist (the owner) was very rude and mean the food at the restaurant was awful and very expensive I won't reccomend it

    I stayed in Sarrebourg for a working trip, thought that it would be easier to catch up with colleagues in town than somewhere outside. Interestingly, colleagues recommended only places outside of town for eating, so I didn't see much of Sarrebourg. I was in what looked on the map like the town center, but I didn't see any nice places for having a coffee, dinner or for shopping around there. The town looked a bit run down in the area where I was, so I suppose that the surrounding villages are nicer places to stay.

    This was a pleasant, friendly small city. It was easy to drive around. The Centre Pompidou Metz is nearby and well worth the trip. There are bakeries for breakfast and good sized shopping mall for sundries and dinner.

    Lots to do in the lovely city of Metz.

    Lots to do in the lovely city of Metz. The Cathedral was absolutely stunning and so was the Museum cour d’Or - extremely impressive not only for its collection of varied artefacts but it was so well laid out with explanatory information in multiple languages, including English - and it was free! Lots of wonderful places to eat too - had a great meal at La Table with a warm and friendly host serving us.

    We were travelling through Europe by car and accidentally...

    We were travelling through Europe by car and accidentally chose Thionville because it was perfectly located on our route and we had read several recommendations about the town. It may be that we missed out on things, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't really have a reason to go there. The town is very dirty and worn down. There are shady people downtown at night and we couldn't get out of the quickly enough. The picture is from downtown Thionville.

    I didnot like the run down neighbourhood and the fact that when advertised the property was shown in different light, then what our experience was. What i like was there was a vaccume in the room then help me clean. And it was nice to have a bed set up when we arrived. Wewent there for our k8ds skiing classes at the sniw world resort. Kids had a great time. Hot Springs were so crowded the que was endless n it was raining, we could not stand outside with kids in the rain n wait so we decided to ditch it n went for bowling instead.
