The staff were excellent and accomodated for our needs even after check out despite not needing to. I would choose to stay here again because of how comfortable our experience was.

The bottle of water left in the room was great. I would have preferred it outside of the fridge since i do not like cold water but the room was warm from time to time so i see why you do it. The whole experience was really great.The room was very comfortable. I was able to get a good cup of coffee right from the room. The bed was excellent. The bottle of water left in the room was great. What a warm welcome!
A beautiful hotel and we were treated to an upgrade upon arrival. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The bed was big enough for us (we're tall people, 184cm & 195cm and usually don't fit in a standard bed in England).
The food (both from the bar and breakfast) is fresh and tasty: loved it.
We used the spa as well and that is a very nice bonus of this hotel.

Our room was upgraded to a bigger one with an exceptional river and an old mill view. The staff there was very polite and welcoming. Although it's a bit far from the city centre, it's close to the bus station, and you can reach the centre within 20 minutes. The breakfast was good as well. I wish I had stayed for more days there.

Fantastic city with lots of things to see, most of which are walkable. The city centre is wonderful with lots of well known attractions. We are particularly fond of canals and the K&A is great. We ate at Cosy Club and Tagine Zhor, both of which we would highly recommend.

Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends
- loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.

You could clearly see that renovation was being undertaken the front looked charming and the restaurant was very comfortable and food very good. On arrival it didn’t feel welcoming and when we highlighted a broken piece ce of furniture the attitude to it was lack lustre. I can clearly see the potential for this to be a hidden as the town is picturesque.

From arrival to departure, we were taken care of. Escorted cheerfully to our rooms by one of the staff. Had a meal in restaurant, which was great. The bar staff and waiters took good care of our needs and even arranged a takeaway breakfast for two of our party leaving early in the morning. The room was fine (room 7 upstairs) and quiet. Power shower, soft towels and kettle with tea/coffee. Location good for access to Bristol. Some of the group were fishing at Blagdon and Chew lakes. Good for walks too.

We stayed in the Mendip Magic cottage.
We stayed in the Mendip Magic cottage. On arrival we saw lovely cottages in a very attractive setting with lots of beautifully planted pots. The inside did not disappoint either. It was cosy and comfortable with everything a home would need. The host was so welcoming with nothing too much trouble. Children would love the friendly goats and chickens on site which is central for visiting Bath, Bristol and the Mendip Hills.

The accommodation area and hosts exceeded our expectations. The dogs enjoyed their stay and the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome I would recommend this property to anyone I just wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return in the future

Lovely accommodation, very pretty frontage. Lots of parking space and access. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. We needed to leave early on last day before breakfast time. They opened early for us, still offering full service.

Saltford is a lovely little town and ideally placed between Bath and Bristol with great cycling and walking routes. We stayed at the Riverside inn which is very good but they close early on Sunday, luckily, we had booked a meal at the Bird in Hand, which is a short walk along 'The Shallows', where the food is also very good.

We loved it ,it’s a very interesting place and the architecture is fantastic .We walked for miles and found some beautiful parks and loved the tea shops.Climbed to the top of the abbey too which enables you to see all around and into the baths .Stunning place and well worth a visit .
