It was something different to anywhere we’ve stayed before, they had everything we needed, as it turnt out we’d bought our own cleaning products and tea coffee and sugar but it was all there so we wouldn’t have needed to! The bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a really lovely touch! Our nephew loved the ps3 and it was great there were board games! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Very good location, about 13 minutes from Kings College Chapel, 6 minutes from Fritzwilliam Museum, and 20 minutes (walk) from the Train Station. Although, it was near the city center it was quiet and safe. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. When it comes to the room - it was clean and spacious (living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen). You could have felt like in home.

Everything was just perfect, and this was my second stay in the hotel, I even did not look for anything else. The staff is very welcoming and ready to solve all possible problems: no card was able to open my room, and I got a larger room instead for the same price. Warm and clean, very sufficient breakfast included.

    The city is so interesting.

The city is so interesting. The Wren Library at Trinity College is well worth a visit. All the eateries are top class and offer super service. The Botanical Gardens were on the turn as it is autumn and I think a reduced entrance fee would be a nice gesture. It was nice to encounter different plant species like ground crocuses. Our second visit and we will be back for more!

Second visit to Ely as we enjoyed our first visit so much. The market on Saturday mornings is amazing with a great variety of stalls, including many locally made crafts. Drayman's Son a local brewery pub/craft beer place is just wonderful. Ely museum and Oliver Cromwell house are well worth the visit. The Cathedral is not to be missed. Plenty of small cafes The riverside is wonderful to walk along and sit and watch the world and boats go by. Places to eat and drink along the riverside and also a large antique/collectables centre. There are excellent links to Cambridge/London from the train station. Everything within the centre is accessible on foot.

The Town centre is full of drunks on benches at all hours of the day. There are reports of high crime compared to other towns in Cambridgeshire. It has a number of things to see such as the Wisbech and Fenland Museum, Peckover House, Elgood's Brewery and Gardens(open every Thursday) and Octavia Hill's birthplace, who was one of the founders of the National Trust.

Excellent value and good to know the Old Great North Road =B1043 which is clue how to get there! A beautiful calm place, ideal if you are a nature lover. Also excellent if you are interested in art and history - two medieval churches and one chapel, all of them within a walking distance. The most famous attraction is certainly IWM Duxford with the stunning aircraft collection - and it really is breathtaking. However, there's so much more Duxford has to offer!
