Fabulous location - the moor was just across the road, with moorland ponies, sheep and lambs grazing within metres of the gate daily (April). Fantastic menu - particularly breakfast - kippers with a poached egg was my favorite - with greek yoghurt with berry coulis and chia, pepitas and prunes. Dinner menu was good - but breakfast was exceptional. Beds excellent. Staff a delight - felt like a local - genuine, warm, funny, engaging. Lounge was premium - very well done. Bar robust and cosy. Plenty of powerpoints for laptops.

Situated in Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, next to the banks of River Dart. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, garden and a bar.

Such a lovely place! We loved our room, especially the wet room. the food was delicious. The staff were outstanding in their friendliness and care. The grounds and the opportunity to visit the Abbey were such a wonderful bonus. the food was delicious too.

The place is a real gem - the room was super comfy and particularly well equipped while being both modern and well designed. The lounge and restaurant were the same - very comfy, using the old style of the building while providing some modern qirks. All in all the place is really beautiful and it was a pleasure to stay there.

Settled in the Dartmoor national park, it is a very quiet and comforting get away. You can have a short walk with children from there as well as long ones. Plenty of nice activities in the hotel (boardgames, crocket, tennis, walks). The place is full of charm and history. The staff is extremely kind and efficient. They made the stay easy for a single parent, offering private dining. The kids menu was varied, delicious and decently priced. The restaurant was a treat for me as well.

On the edge of Dartmoor National Park, Mill End Hotel features a creative restaurant, elegant bedrooms and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is set in leafy grounds just outside Chagford.

Beautiful hotel in Dartmoor NP. The house (with history) has an english classic style and the gardens are lovely. The staff was very friendly and the spa was a nice bonus.

The location is perfect for a comfortable stay whilst exploring Dartmoor. We found the rooms very comfortable & the food excellent, great choice of beers, wines etc & the menu was varied. All the staff we met were helpful, friendly & very efficient, even when rushed off their feet. We have stayed previously & will not hesitate to stay again. Thoroughly recommend. The highlight of our trip. We stayed in the Belstone room; my husband said he felt like a King. Simon and Lyn were wonderful hosts and the meals were amazing.
