- From US$173.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,550 reviewsThe receptionist (Ron! Give this man a raise please) is the kindest, funniest and most lovely Scot I came across here, maybe even the most lovely person of the UK, we had such a warm welcome by him, definitely an amazing way to kick off your stay! The other staff is also very very helpful and amongst the kindest I’ve ever come across in my years of traveling. Well that is just the beginning, now come the rooms. The decor is absolutely amazing, super warm and cozy. The bed is absurdly comfortable and big and the bathroom is extremely clean and modern. The corridors are clean and look very safe because they’re well equipped with a lot of firedoors, there’s carpet and look very safe and cozy just like the room.Guest review byMichaël EvertNetherlands
- From US$137.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 1,230 reviewsIf you like 70s retro, this is perfect; because it's not retro, it's the real thing. Built in the early 70s, less modernised and more very well maintained, it's kept it's 70s look and feel. The rooms are small, but comfortable and spotless. The staff are friendly & helpful, especially the night porter & driver who arranged transport to the airport for me. They are in the process of updating many of the rooms. I really hope they keep a handful they way they are.Guest review byGrahamSaudi Arabia

Glasgow is a lovely university town with a world class museum - the Kelvingrove. Plenty of bars and restaurants and a lively night life seen. Not touristy like Edinburgh, but lived in and comfortable.Guest review byLeslieUnited States - 10.0
A wonderful place—I come back every year!
A wonderful place—I come back every year! Paisley is well worth a visit, not only for its charm but also for the warmth and friendliness of the people. There are plenty of great spots to eat and drink; my personal favorites are Roasters Coffee Shop on High Street and the Wetherspoon’s pub conveniently located next to the train station. The town is also extremely well connected: just 10 minutes by train from Glasgow, home to Glasgow Airport, and a little over an hour by train to Edinburgh. Within Paisley itself, there are many attractions to enjoy, such as the historic Abbey and Coats Memorial, and soon the observatory and other sites will reopen to visitors. If you’re traveling to Glasgow, it’s definitely worth taking the time to stop by Paisley for a walk and to soak in its unique atmosphere.Guest review byMiguelSpain - 10.0

Nothing to do with the location ..but..the bus from Buchanan bus station dropped us off on the outskirts of Balloch on a very busy duel carriageway..which took ages to cross safely..why don't they terminate in Balloch's own bus station...much safer as we had to walk 15 mins to get to our accomodation in rough tarain... I'd hate to think of elderly people having to endure this ... shocked to be honest...nothing to do will The Tillie Inn..maybe something should be changed to prevent this.as it has put me off getting the bus...Guest review byTownsley - 8.0

Hamilton has a lot to offer visitors, not least in terms of shopping venues, restaurants and its proximity to outdoor spaces. I ate at Cafe Eataliano on Almada Street and had a delicious meal, served in attractive surroundings. Had my stay been longer, I would happily have returned! I enjoyed walking my dog at Bothwell Road Park, which dates from 1894, and at Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell, which has fabulous views over Strathclyde Loch. Near the entrance to the park is a Toby Carvery, which offers tasty, generous portions at very reasonable prices. I had occasion to shop at short notice, and was grateful to have a retail park comprising a Sainsbury's Superstore, M&S Food Hall, Home Bargains, B&M and a British Heart Foundation - Home and Fashion Store, among others, just a short drive from my hotel.Guest review byLesleyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The shopping centre is pretty good with a variety of shops.
The shopping centre is pretty good with a variety of shops. I also enjoyed the cinema which was very comfortable. Renovations were being carried out but didn't detract from the enjoyment of the visit. The walk along the canal was pretty and relaxing. I'd have liked a trip to the museum but sadly it's closed at weekends. Don't miss a trip to nearby Bowling canal basin. The boats and old buildings make it very pretty. This is a beautiful spot with lovely vistas and a great wee eatery at Paton's Place. Great coffee.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This was a great stopover on our tour of Scotland. Our room was fantastic. Very comfortable. We wished we could have stayed for several days. We didn’t do activities as time was short for us. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and the buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious and plenty to choose from.Guest review byJaneAustralia - 10.0

It was a lovely wee gem of a hotel and brilliant value for money. Rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. All the staff I had the pleasure of dealing with very friendly and efficient. They have a huge choice of food, a bar and smoking area and sun garden. As well as restaurant. Brilliant value for money and also easy to park. I didn’t notice much noise at all in the rooms and it was a Saturday night. I will deefinitelt be backGuest review byAnonymous
