- From US$262.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,538 reviewsWe had a perfect stay at the hotel and can’t wait to come again. We travelled as a little family with a 4 year old daughter. The reception was really friendly and welcoming, just like all staff members that we met. The rooms are huge, all facing the sea side and are well equipped with big comfortable beds. The bathroom is big and clean and the hotel provides free amenities outside of the rooms, in case you run out of tea, cookies or soap. Really perfect. The restaurant is directly next to the shore, you get a great view of the Loch. The food was the best we’ve had during our stay in Scotland. we had fresh (huge) mussels for a very reasonable price and the restaurant staff cared so much for our well being. Also breakfast was just delicious. It’s a classical Full Scottish and cereals. The breakfast was incredibly well prepared, everything was fresh and tasty. The spa area was nice and clean as well. Pool and whirlpool had the ideal temperature. In the evening it was totally empty and we had the area for ourself. Some other commentators wrote that it felt old and outdated. We liked it a lot, everything was well maintained and much better than some other modern hotels we stayed in. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time.Guest review byMartinGermany

The location of the hotel was good with nice views over the loch and mountains. There is 22Kw electric charging points. Big carpark. And a Co-Op supermarket close by.Guest review byDarrenJordan

It took a while to find a real pub, but the Glenalbyn was great. Way too many glitzy bars or eateries pretending to be pubs though. Homeless people seem a problem, though the guy selling the Big Issue outside the railway station was great, friendly and good for directions, it was the others begging who were a worry.Guest review byJonathanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The main reason for our visit to Fort William was a first class ride on "The Jacobite" steam train from Fort William to Mallaig, which came for three people - one adult, two kids - at a 260 pounds price tag. It was a brilliant autumn day with a unique blend of the Scottish landscape and the historic train setting - full marks!Guest review byMatthiasGermany - 10.0
I love this neck of the woods.
I love this neck of the woods. Plenty to do if you are an outdoors person or just want a break from busy places. It is a nice laid back location where there is a lot less hassle. Lots of nice food places - either restaurants or take-aways and plenty of shops where you could buy your own food if you don't want to go out. Highly recommended. If the weather is not so good there are plenty of lovely places you can drive to within 45 minutes.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely place with many interesting places to visit.
Lovely place with many interesting places to visit. Also travelled around Skye to various parts but managed to see most of the island over the course of our 3 day/night stay Make sure to pay a visit to the fairy pools. Also if you can spot some Highland Cows (Coo) be sure to grab a photo!Guest review bySusanAustralia - 8.0

Beautiful location with plenty of places nearby to visit. Good choice/variety of places to eat in the town too. The Shore Restaurant is excellent. The food is well cooked and well presented and the surroundings are comfortable and relaxing.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 2.0
A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Broadford is well located to travel across all Skye, but also not too far from the bridge of Skye to reach back to mainland. It has a supermarket and some restaurants. A walk on the shore is beautiful.Guest review bySimoneSwitzerland - 10.0
