- From US$153.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 5,299 reviewsWe don't really get all of the bad Google comments. We had a great stay here. The hotel is beautiful: charming buildings next to each other in front of the river. A pretty and protected alley leads to each building. Our room was gigantic and well-equiped. All furniture and decoration are well chosen. Beds were comfortable. The team was nice and accommodating. It's close to the center but far enough (5 minutes by foot) not to hear all the pubs and cars noises. We would come back with great pleasure! Thank you!Guest review bySérénaFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 1,557 reviewsWe were booked for 2 nights but as soon as we arrived to our chalet we booked another 3 nights! Its like home away home! The chalet is so comfortable, cosy, warm. The whole resort is in a great location as Aviemore is just a wonderful little town. Scenery (for me as a foreigner from a flat country) absolutely gorgeous. Lots to do as a family and the areas roads and viewpoints are a must! Great place for a family holiday!Guest review byKatrin G KingEstonia

It took a while to find a real pub, but the Glenalbyn was great. Way too many glitzy bars or eateries pretending to be pubs though. Homeless people seem a problem, though the guy selling the Big Issue outside the railway station was great, friendly and good for directions, it was the others begging who were a worry.Guest review byJonathanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The main reason for our visit to Fort William was a first class ride on "The Jacobite" steam train from Fort William to Mallaig, which came for three people - one adult, two kids - at a 260 pounds price tag. It was a brilliant autumn day with a unique blend of the Scottish landscape and the historic train setting - full marks!Guest review byMatthiasGermany - 10.0
I love this neck of the woods.
I love this neck of the woods. Plenty to do if you are an outdoors person or just want a break from busy places. It is a nice laid back location where there is a lot less hassle. Lots of nice food places - either restaurants or take-aways and plenty of shops where you could buy your own food if you don't want to go out. Highly recommended. If the weather is not so good there are plenty of lovely places you can drive to within 45 minutes.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely place with many interesting places to visit.
Lovely place with many interesting places to visit. Also travelled around Skye to various parts but managed to see most of the island over the course of our 3 day/night stay Make sure to pay a visit to the fairy pools. Also if you can spot some Highland Cows (Coo) be sure to grab a photo!Guest review bySusanAustralia - 8.0

A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
