We had dinner at pizzeria inferno, it was really the highlight. Service was great and had some seafood linguini that I am still thinking about, a week on. The town itself is as unremarkable as any town in the midlands. The current politics' events had it also covered in Union Jacks and St. George's Crosses. If that's your thing, you are in for a treat. Lovely town. Lovely town square and related old buildings. Very relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of shops to visit if that's your thing. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, if that's your thing. If you need a hotel, the Three Swans is highly recommended. My favorite place was Saint Mary's Church (Attention: only open from 12 to 2!!) with the monument of Wycliffe, the painings and its very special atmosphere. The exposition in HIGH POINT is very interesting too because of Wycliffe. I made a nice walk along the river Swift where Wycliffes bones have been burnt about 600 years ago. Breakfast beyond delicious, lovely meeting 3 other people at breakfast and a good chat about the area etc. Our view and the garden so special. We were pleased with the friendly and helpful staff on duty, after a delayed flight.
