- From US$119.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 517 reviewsOur one night stay here marked the start of a week long trip doing the NC500, and Delny Glamping set the bar high! Loved our stay here, booked as a family of 6 adults/1 child and shared two pods. The accommodation was spotless and had absolutely everything we could've needed. Shared with my parents but privacy wasn't an issue. Lovely surprise to see a kids playground and farm animals on site. The camp kitchen was a great addition too (no cooking facilities but there was a microwave available, and a large double sink for washing up). Wish we'd known about the fire pits - would have been good to light a fire as it got quite cold once the sun went down, and it would probably have been good at keeping the midgies away! We saw our neighbours cooking on their fire which would've been good too. Highly recommend.Guest review byCraigAustralia

The host and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The host and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Loved the decor. Breakfast was delicious, you had the option of cooked or continental - or both if you wanted. A quick walk to the town and we were in a stunning coastal village with cafes and shops. Would definately recommend this wee gem.Guest review byWendyNew Zealand - 2.0
A poor and unattractive place.
A poor and unattractive place. Most shops were empty and nothing was looked after, except a superb flower garden around a statue in a little square near the hotel. It was difficult to find somewhere nice to eat. Quite depressing environment.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 6.0

It was central for my visit as I was travelling by public transport as I don't drive and wanted to do the NC500 I wanted to do some walking and visit local attractions like Whaligo steps John O Groats Duncansby Head and Stacks . Take a book and find a seat because buses are spot on time but not regular also wanted to walk to Castle Sinclair GirnigoeGuest review byKathleenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Dingwall was central to a lot we wished to visit.
Dingwall was central to a lot we wished to visit. Maybe it because we are happy to jump in a car and go see but we went as far Dunrobin castle in the north to Culloden. which we found easy. The town of Beauly is a must go and see. As was Dunrobin and Culloden. The Black Isle is a beautiful area too and we wished we had the time to see moreGuest review byMalissaNew Zealand - 10.0

We enjoyed visiting the water fall and walking in the woods and along the coastal path. We had tea and cake at the golf club. They were absolutely wonderful. They allow dogs in too. We highly recommend a visit, even if you don’t play golf. The Old Inn pub was very welcoming too. Especially if you have dogs. The mountain coffee shops and book shop was excellent too.Guest review byChristineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Tain is a lovely quiet place to stay in but i did not like the restaurant at the Station. Overpriced basic food which i would not go back for. I wish i had gone to the Tesco along the road, bought 3 Rib Eye Steaks and cooked at home as it would have been much better value for money!!!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Dornoch surprised us with its beauty - a thriving little town with lovely little shops and obviously proud of its local history. Well-kept and clean it was a pleasure to walk around. The museum is excellent - well laid out presentations on different aspects and characters of the town's past and some interesting videos. The beach is beautiful too and well worth a visit. Plenty of choice for where to eat. We had an excellent dinner at The Eagle and lunch next day at the lovely Sandstone Cafe. Highly recommend both.Guest review byMagi33United Kingdom - 8.0
Strathpeffer is a very attractive small Scottish village.
Strathpeffer is a very attractive small Scottish village. For the size of the village it has four perhaps five good places to eat. Numerous old trees included a couple of giant redwoods usually found in America. Very relaxing place to spend a few days. It's also is a good touring base allowing you to go North, South, East and West.Guest review byGraeme J.United Kingdom - 10.0

Very peaceful by the sea and well kept grounds, finding it was a mission but once there enjoyed the views and stay. If you are looking for a jacuzzi they haven't got one, but thoroughly enjoyed the trip nature walks and beaches nearby and got lucky whale/dolphin watching on a boat trip from ullapool. Had a nice family time.Guest review byPrashanthUnited Kingdom - 6.0
