- From US$160.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 363 reviewsWhere to start? The greeting on reception was fabulous - such a warm welcome and very kindly, an upgrade of both our rooms for which we were very grateful indeed. The hotel is fabulous for those who are less mobile, with slopes and swing doors in the general areas. My mother uses a wheelchair and was amazed at the quality of the disabled bathroom in the room - the best we had seen, so we can definitely recommend the hotel to wheelchair users or those who avoid steps. The rooms are huge and very clean, the beds comfortable - firm with some give. We had an excellent dinner with superb service. Fabulous wines; not just their own, but a global selection. A real treat! Breakfast consists of a lovely buffet but also a comprehensive menu. Again, excellent service. I cannot recommend the Llanerch Vineyard Hotel highly enough. It is a beautiful place with a great team, and fantastic value for money.Guest review byPhillieGermany

Cardiff is a very vibrant city though I was there for work. The hotel is very near the station, very clean & easily accessible on foot. Very easy to get around cardiff. Lots of nice restaurants & coffee places , shopping is really good I would highly recommend Pasture if you are into steaks.Guest review bychantat PatelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Brilliant weekend.
Brilliant weekend. If you like your food go to the Truffles restaurant it was amazing. Also go to The Observatory on the beach for coffee and breakfast, it is really quirky and fantastic food. Go to the Sky Bar on the 28th floor as the views are astounding .Guest review byLyndaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I went for one night to see a football match, but had a wander round in the afternoon. Saw old ruins of a castle by the river but it looked all shut up and there was no boards stating if it were accessible. Nice new concourse on the riverbank by the millenium bridge, but some parts of the older town near the station are a bit seedy. Plenty of the new breed of town dweller,( foreign, young, male and unemployed)Guest review byJIMUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Lots to do and see for such a small place.
Lots to do and see for such a small place. Great for walking (as long as you don't mind hills) and the castle is spectacular and well worth a visit. Some excellent real ale pubs and plenty of good cafes too.Guest review byKayUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Towels old, grey and thin. Room NOT serviced.
Towels old, grey and thin. Room NOT serviced. Got fresh towels from Reception. Bathroom had no sink plug which made wet shaving by my husband difficult to do. Shower floor very slippy when shower was in use - no bath mat, no hand grip. No bath mat for outside of shower. No soap in shower dispenser. Poor lighting, room very dark. No spare pillows We paid for bed & breakfast a dreceived a cardboard box containing cornflakes, UHT milk carton, an oat biscuit, pan au chocolates, tiny bottle of water, spoon and tissue. I am diabetic - totally unsuitable and would not have taken booking had we known. Room was clean but very strong breath taking smell of bleach which lingered for hours. Bed linen satisfactory. . Bed had a roll together mattress.Guest review byJohns - 10.0

Nice little seaside town, full of charm and a must for Gavin and Stacey fans. Very quiet out of season. There seems to be a lot of building work going on to improve facilities. Not too over commercialised, nice sandy beach with good selection of snack bars and cafes. Finegans Spanish style restaurant is brilliant with great staff. The railway station is situated on the seafront with good connections to Cardiff and local areas.Guest review byGarryUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Merthyr itself is a bit of a depressing town.
Merthyr itself is a bit of a depressing town. Lots of empty shops. A nice restaurant near the train station, Casa Bianca. A good shopping centre just outside the main town with a big M&S, a big Boots, Next, TK Max, etc. Merthyr has good roads and it's easy to get to Brecon, Swansea and Cardiff from there.Guest review byDeborahUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The purpose of our visit was to see a show at the Borough Theatre. Hence we only stayed one night. We live in Bristol so Abergavenny is not far. However we decided to stay over and have a meal rather than driving back after the show. The Theatre was good and we would visit again. We had dinner at the Anatolian restaurant which was excellent. I know Turkish food and it was good. We would consider visiting again and staying over to do some walking or seeing the sites.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 6.0
The room was a good size. Location was great.
The room was a good size. Location was great. Parking was helpful. Unfortunately the front house stafs were miserable to deal with. We were woken up very early and asked to leave despite paying for late check-out. He didnt belive and asked us to provide the proof of payment. Imagine if we couldn't find the receipt. Surely there are systems they have in place to check this. It ruined our morning as we planned on having a lie-in. The while point of our late check-out was defeated.Guest review byAmara DavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0
its a beautiful seaside place, excellent sand beach.
its a beautiful seaside place, excellent sand beach. Sad to see the fun fair will no longer be there next year, with out this , it will lose its family Attraction. Get the feeling the area is looking to appeal to another class of person, rather than the traditional family visitors.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom
