I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Running Horse hotel in Mickleham, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm and genuine welcome that instantly made me feel at home. The staff at The Running Horse truly set this establishment apart. Their friendliness and attentiveness were second to none. It's rare to encounter a team so dedicated to ensuring every guest feels comfortable and well taken care of. Whether it was recommendations for local attractions or just a friendly chat, their genuine warmth made the stay all the more special. The comfort of the beds was unparalleled. After a long day of exploring the charming surroundings, sinking into the plush bedding was a dream come true. It's evident that the hotel places a high priority on providing a restful and rejuvenating sleep experience. Now, let's talk about the food. "Amazing" doesn't even begin to describe it. I had booked here at last minute because of a family emergency and i arrived very early, and had very much lack of sleep, a lady called Nicky/Nichola was amazing and helped me get a room earlier, of which i am grateful for, she really helped through a very bad start. I actually used to live and even work here many years back and this place holds nice memories for me. So again i just want to say thank you all for being so nice and helping me out.

The food here is just exceptional! Really great menu even for a vegetarian. I had both dinner and breakfast and wished I could have stayed longer to try more of the menu. The staff were really welcoming. Great that there's parking right outside. Rooms are lovely either quirky features. Everything was really clean. I will certainly be booking next time I'm working in the area.

Peter and Malik were so friendly and professional and made sure we had a great stay. Rooms were cosy and beds were super comfortable. Location is lovely with beautiful woods nearby. Will definitely be visiting again!! The hotel suited our needs perfectly

Location, location, location! Set on the beautiful vineyard grounds of Denbies in the quaint market town of Dorking. Beautifully appointed rooms and delicious breakfast. Miles of vineyard to walk and discover.

Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We ate lunch and breakfast, both were lovely. staff were very friendly and accommodating, even checked us in early as room was ready.

Loved my stay. Felt so relaxed and like a home away from home. The food was also exceptional. Such a family vibe as well, even dogs welcome! I will definitely be back.

A distinctively decorated room. Nice touches - like biscuits on arrival. Nice ambience and easy to get to the walk I was aiming for at box hill.
