We had room 2 with views of the river which was stunning. The staff very friendly and even put an extra duvet on my bed as they had no blankets. We were warned in advance about they had no heating and had 2 mobile radiators in the room which heated the room plenty. The food was fabulous in the hotel in the evening. Lowestoft is home to the East Anglia Transport Museum. One of the Countries premier transport museums. The promenade is a great place to go for a daily run. Lots to see and do to suit all ages. Good transport links and options to Great Yarmouth and Norwich (Park n ride for Norwich) Only a few minutes drive to places such as Scratby, Caister, Winterton and Thrigby Wildlife Gardens. In Hemsby check out Kiah's tearooms for treats and afternoon tea and the Lacon Arms for a decent carvery with lots of options to suit all tastes. Wroxham is in a great position on the river with numerous boat trips and self hire boats available. There is an excellent Department store which was a real surprise. Lovely little community. Very dog friendly. Beautiful, clean, sandy beach. Augusto's Cafe served a great breakfast. Clipper ( sightseeing bus) passes through regularly. Gorleston-on-sea is a great location - combining the best bits of a traditional seaside holiday with great places to eat and peace and quiet (apart from the seagulls of course !).
