PAOLA ,best receptionist ever, I had a complaint and she managed it in a very professional and kind way. I would definitely repeat. Room is beautiful, bed super comfortable, bathroom is fabulous and super clean, breakfast really good , definitely will come back. Spa is good enough, jacuzzi was closed but the rest was open so at the end it was a good experience.

We enjoyed a very tasty dinner in the restaurant as well as breakfast in the more casual area next morning. The room was well appointed though not a lot of floor space for our 2 large suitcases. There was very easy access from the car. The breakfast had plenty of choice and make your own cappuccino etc machines as well as boiling water for tea.

We were expecting great facilities and comfort, from the photos and reviews, but they really don’t show how amazing this place is! The lodge was clean, warm and comfortable. Decorated and furnished to such a high standard, with everything you could possibly need and set in such a picturesque location. The hot tub was amazing!

My visit to’ Bristol was fantastic, we where there for conference so i couldnt visit so many places. Overall we loved it. The buildings looked very nice and the historical once where so lovely. The people where hospitable too. I personaly found the hills very fascinating as we hard time to walk from where we Lodged to the conference venue, which was like 15minutes walk, it was a good exercie for us.

I did not meet any staff on either arrival or departure but had previously spoken to the owner on the telephone who was most helpful. I notice you have a lovely photo of a property in Redhill which people might think is Hathway House! A better map based on walking from the airport is required. Loved the rocking chair & custard creams!

Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and community shop. The Swan Hotel up the hill, on the by pass road (A38), does good meals. There is a lay by to see the views over the Severn estuary and both bridges from the top of the hill leading down to the village. If you are staying in the hotels on the bypass it's a challenging walk both to cross the dual carriageway and walk up and down the steep hill down to the village.

There was nothing much where we stayed in the actual village but a Garden centre was nearby for breakfasts and a local store for snacks and drinks and anything else we needed. We spent the day at a wedding held at Tortworth Court which was absolutely excellent for facilities, gardens, views and services. Very beautiful!

Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends - loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.

You could clearly see that renovation was being undertaken the front looked charming and the restaurant was very comfortable and food very good. On arrival it didn’t feel welcoming and when we highlighted a broken piece ce of furniture the attitude to it was lack lustre. I can clearly see the potential for this to be a hidden as the town is picturesque.
