I had asked for a quiet room and got one, but it was also spacious, well furnished and attractive. Staff kindly carried my bag to my room when it was ready (the Arden occupies an old building, so halls are long and stairs part of any journey, unless one uses the lift for mobility reasons). I was visiting Straford in order to go to the theatre, and no hotel is closer to the Royal Shakespeare Company's theatres than this one. I had an excellent breakfast in the attractive restaurant before departing. The restaurant staff were as friendly and attentive as the desk staff. I would be delighted to stay at the Arden on my next journey to Stratford.

We had stayed at this hotel a number of years ago and although pleasant the beds were a bit uncomfortable, however when I was planning our recent trip I noticed the hotel had been refurbished and so booked in. Wow what a transformation and the bed was amazing so a good night's sleep was had, the new decor in the room just hit the right spot for the hotel and for us the location was good.

We love staying here! Second time booking our stay from Australia. Highly recommend. Only regret we have is not staying here longer. We love the location and the rooms overlooking the street are just delightful! The on-site restaurant and drinks make it extra special. Make sure you try the Bees Knees cocktail. We can’t wait to come back.

Went specifically for an RSC production but took advantage of the time I had to explore the town/river a little. Have visited in past to see specific Shakespeare locations. Stratford is charming with a host of eateries, pubs and things to see. Great signage and easy to walk around. Didn’t have to park my car (walked into town) so can’t comment on that. Beautiful part of the country - the river especially. Not cheap (of course!) but reasonable considering the fact they rely on the tourist trade. People were friendly and I felt quite safe walking at night. Lovely stay. Highly recommend RSC productions - saw Macbeth at The Other Place and it was outstanding 🌟

Beautiful town with a fantastic castle to visit.

Beautiful town with a fantastic castle to visit. Warwick castle has to be the best castle to visit in the country. A lot of effort has been put into the presentation of the castle it is well worth a visit. Warwick town is very charming with plenty of small business shops to choose from. We went to the street party they had in July 2025 it was a great atmosphere in Warwick is very safe.

Kenilworth Castle is a wonderful place to visit, and I would recommend it to anyone. Likewise Kenilworth itself - there is not much left of the Abbey, but it is definitely worth a stroll through the well-kept and tranquil grounds. The shopping area is well served with a large variety of shops, and plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Another thing I noticed was that there are lots of benches where one can stop to rest.

Coleshill is a very old market town in a rural setting, currently being torn up and built over to accommodate HS2. The town has always been out on its own but the outer world and HS2 is bring it into the modern drama and noise.

Rugby is a pretty little town with some history. Most shopping is now in small retail estates on the outskirts, allowing for larger premises and stock. This means the towh centre has small cosy cafes drinking holes and a smattering of charity shops.

Fantastic location and beautifully furnished pod in the trees! We were on route to the Lakes. I called the location prior to booking to ensure I could have another person and the staff member dawn was very helpful indeed. It was well provided for with equipment and the pod was very warm and cosy. The location in the trees is lovely seeing little dears and lots of birds, sheep and animals around. I would have liked to have stayed and explored a bit more.

Service was not good .

Service was not good . We waited long for check in and 3 times had to use my card as the Internet service was bad at reception and kept declining. Room was smelly and pillows were not comfy and old . No extra pillows provided in the room. At breakfast time waited ages for someone to book us but no one available so we went in to the dinning area . Then a staff member rudely asked what room we are in ! Explained no one was at the front desk so came in after waiting ages and also seen other couples face the same thing during breakfast time . The name of the hotel and what we seen advertised was not the same expectation.
