- From US$151.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 1,626 reviewswhat a fantastic old house. looked so much like the houses used in the Outlander tv series. the room I staying in was massive and in one of the out buildings. whilst so old on the outside the interior was modern and stylish. sat in the courtyard with my drink I could feel the history of the place. mine was a last minute booking after the hotel I was supposed to stay at was double booked and no rooms spare. in a way I’m so glad it was, I wouldn’t have known about this amazing place otherwise. I would advise a stay here to anyone seeking an historic visit to Scotland.Guest review byStewartUnited Kingdom
- From US$73.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 412 reviewsThis property has everything you need to feel totally at home. We love to cook and the kitchen is fully equipped. The space is much larger than we expected, and to get to Edinburgh was a short walk to the train and an easy line costing 6 pounds for a round trip.Guest review byHannaGermany
- From US$147.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,096 reviewsGood location, lovely staff and a great bar. Perfect for a morning flight out of Edinburgh. They don't sell food on a Monday night but have no fear, there's a few great places to eat including a marvelous chippy right next door.Guest review bytonyCanada

Livingston is a quaint, calm neighbourhood.
Livingston is a quaint, calm neighbourhood. Although not easy to access an Uber, there are bus stops if you walk a few minutes, and Livingston North train station is of course a stop for the different rail services. We walked for about 15-20 mins to get to a station. Save the number of taxi operators ahead of your trip, if you're travelling with lots of luggage and want convenient drop offs and pick ups from/to your space in Livingston.Guest review byCSouth Africa - 10.0

Lovely weather, so walked round the loch (lake) to Linlithgow Peel (Park). Visited the Palace, - birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots, Church & Museum, wonderful. Sampled great coffees, homemade lunches & baking in the several small independent cafes. Took train to Edinburgh and Glasgow, and car to Stirling. So easy and practical.Guest review byWendySwitzerland - 2.0

I would rather not say anything else as this place could be amazing with if it was cleaned property and the staff had a better attitude. I looks lovely and would be if it was cleaned property maintained and better instruction and better attitudes. I work within the NHS and deals with people attitude all day long but don’t expect it when going away to relax for a few days.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Very convenient for Edinburgh Airport- bus stop 80 metres away- £4.50 vs £32 for a taxi. Comfortable room, but would have preferred a toilet in the room, rather than across the corridor.Very good value for money.Restaurant and bar on the premises, but no breakfast except weekends.Guest review bySTUARTFrance - 2.0
There is nothing to see in Whitburn. It is rundown.
There is nothing to see in Whitburn. It is rundown. Lots of fish and chip shops! There are no decent restaurants close by. The Best Western Hillcroft is supposed to have a good restaurant I found the food awful there. The bar is nice and the staff are friendly. There is nothing to do in Whitburn.Guest review byElizabethUnited States - 10.0

Broxburn is situated about 18 miles West from central Edinburgh & about 7 miles West from the airport. (Bus X18 runs to/from both about every 30 mins). It's a quiet neighborhood with plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, etc within 10/15 minutes walking distance - depending on where exactly you are. Safe enough area to walk about at night. I was here for work (4 nights/days) & didn't visit any attractions, etc but I'm sure most would be easily accessible.Guest review byStew XUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Absolutely lovely modern property with everything provided for a break away. Very comfortable accommodation spotlessly clean with a large garden and BBQ hut for your use and a trampoline for the kids. Great location between Edinburgh and Glasgow for getting out and about.Guest review byDavid - 8.0

The location was very convenient, with a market nearby that offered everything one might need during a short stay. While the approach lane wasn’t particularly impressive, the apartment itself exceeded our expectations — beautifully maintained and very comfortable inside.Guest review byREHAN HABIBUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town. Train service is very good. A visit to Linlithgow Palace is a must and there is a delightful 4km walk around Linlithgow Loch including Linlithgow Palace.Guest review byMargaretUnited Kingdom
