The whole stay was amazing! Location was perfect, with great walks to do around the Cotswolds. The food was delicious, especially in the hook. We couldn’t fault the service, they were attentive throughout our stay, we even arrived to a lovely set up for our dog, including a bed, bowls, treats and a new toy. A fabulous old historic hotel centrally located in Broadway...

A fabulous old historic hotel centrally located in Broadway with very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was of good size and the bed very comfortable and large. The decor of the room needs an upgrade in our opinion, along with the bathroom modernising. The Dining Room, bar area and assorted snug reception rooms are quite amazing and in keeping with the history of this beautiful 600 year old coaching inn. One of our disappointments was the James Martin Grill restaurant, we were probably expecting much higher standards for our dinner which didn't appear. We enjoyed our first evening bar meal in the Hunter bar which is attached to the hotel, possibly more. The pool and spa were absolutely delightful although one point to note was to be asked for a discretionary 12.5% service charge on top of the treatment prices (the treatments themselves were standard given that their descriptions in the marketing online would make you think otherwise) which are higher than average and increase at the weekend. It was a very special treat for us and all in all a great stay.
