- From US$46.24 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 117 reviewsNemasu was by far the best place we stayed in the Gambia. We initially only planned to stay for 2 nights and had booked another place, but when we got to the other place we changed our plans so that we could go back to Nemasu for another 2 nights. It's the perfect place to unwind, right on the beach, super green and quiet and just idyllic. The staff are super nice and the food is excellent. We also booked a bird-watching boat tour through Nemasu with Suleiman that was great. Extra bonus - their dog is the sweetest and there are some kittens running around as well!Guest review byRebeccaAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 10.0Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 14 reviewsA wonderful location outside the tourist areas of the Gambia. The lodge is very comfortable and the hosts are exceptional. It was like being a house guest in their own bird reserve. I went for the birding and was not not disappointed with the location - the woods and the lagoon offered an amazing variety of habitats. The food was very authentic and done to a very high standard. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.Guest review bykevin tarrantUnited Kingdom

Beautiful beach.. love paradise beach especially at sunset.
Beautiful beach.. love paradise beach especially at sunset. Perfect. beach for long walks Many b & b resorts along the beach and I've stayed at a few all pleasant and great price if your on a budget. Most have good WiFi ( free) if your not looking for luxury and just want clean en suite room to sleep then you in the right place. Several activities take place such as wrestling and drumming with African dancing, reggae night, boat rides, there is a nearby fishing village.. for a more tranquil stay if you go further along beach past the fishing village its so calm and peaceful...and can lunch at Mama Africas.Guest review bySharonUnited Kingdom
