JapanI highly recommend this hotel. Located in the heart of Athens, it's clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Best of all, the interior is stylish and the staff are incredibly welcoming. It's enjoyable both spending time alone and communicating with other guests. The bed, toilet, and shower room are all perfectly cleaned. You can also use the kitchen and have tea. Spending time on the rooftop with the pool is also nice. If I ever find myself in Athens again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel. So, please enjoy your experience at OKUPA.

This was my first time in Athens, Greece and my first time travelling alone so I was a bit scared. The first thing is that the hotel is easy to reach by public transport and my way from the airport was the only time I had to take transports because you can literally do everything on foot, all the sites of interest are only 30minutes max away from the hotel.
What I loved most about the hotel is the staff, they are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I was quickly able to rest in my room that was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was an absolute delight with an incredible view and at night when you just want to chill you can just go the rooftop and grab a drink served by an awesome team.
If you have to leave early, the reception is open 24/7 it take literally one minute and they even can give you your breakfast to go.
I am looking forward to come back again. Thank you for making my first (and surely not the last) trip to Athens memorable.

The hotel overall was good, with a spacious room and a cozy hot tub. The bed was very comfortable and you can see the quality in the bedding and general comfort.
However, I would suggest some improvements: the bathroom would be better with a curtain or enclosed shower so the water doesn’t go out, and the toilet felt very old and cheap compared to the rest of the room.
Since the hotel has its own restaurant and coffee bar, I believe it deserves a refresh the style, cuisine, and atmosphere are outdated, and it’s a shame because the view is beautiful but the place is always empty. A cozier and more modern restaurant with better staff would make a huge difference.
Also, it would be perfect if the sunbeds were included in the hotel stay, as paying €10 extra doesn’t feel right.
In general, the experience was okay, but with a few updates this hotel could be truly great.

We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed it immensely! Prior to our stay I emailed the concierge a couple of times with some questions I had, and they were wonderful in answering!
We upgraded our room to have a balcony, and it was great. You get good value for your money, the staff is amazing and you have your own oasis on the roof top. That said, there were people complaining about the fact that you have to book sun beds and consume at least 25€ up there.. In all honesty, this is nothing new, I’ve met the same system in Spain and it works. Also, the price is not bad when you compare it to a beach club by the sea where you pay an entrance fee, then a bed or two, and then food and drinks..
Mavili Beach is charming, it’s convenient and it works. And the staff up there is wonderful!

A beautiful hotel with the best breakfast view! The breakfast area is on the 6th floor which offers a panoramic view of the city along with the Acropolis. Food was amazing too with the best scrambled eggs and a large selection of food all of high quality. Rooms were clean and well-furnished. We got a free upgrade to their balcony room with panoramic view of the acropolis, the view was truly breathtaking and we were beyond grateful. The hotel also allowed late check-out at 1pm and we really appreciated the flexibility as we got more time to explore the city. It is also in a very safe quiet neighborhood but still a walkable distance from Syntagma square so the location didn't cause us any inconvenience.

Unbelievable location at the sea! In my opinion the best part of Agistri, away from the busy street. Everything you need is close, private beach, very good breakfast.
The room was very spacious as well, with a huge balcony.
The personnel was very kind and helped us with whatever we needed.

Athens is really beautiful place.
Athens is really beautiful place. I recommend to visit once if you get chance. Full Athens city can be explored in single day. But there are island near to Athens which is also very beautiful, I could not chance to visit these island.

We go there a day or two early arriving from Athens to board our cruise ship. Piraeus is a lovely city. Almost next door is a new building with a bar looking out over the harbour. Down on the corner is a great kebab place and just across the road is a local, family run taverna with great food. We always order too much!

Awful experience.
Awful experience. My flight was delayed and I arrived around 1 AM. The host told me the booking was cancelled because it was late — but no one ever informed me about that. She hung up on me several times and offered no help.
We were left outside in the rain with our luggage, had to take another taxi back to the airport, and ended up sleeping on the floor for seven hours. Still waiting for the refund she promised. Totally unacceptable.

The property was spotless.
The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time.
The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. To sum it up I intend to return to this property again while traveling .

There are plenty of Restaurants close to the Harbour and there is plenty of variety or restaurants. A couple of Bakeries, Ice Cream shops and Cafes are also available.
There are a lot of clothing shops on the front and up the various alleys so there is plenty to look at. We took a Water Taxi down the East Coast and that was worthwhile. Another couple took a Water Taxi to a Beach on the other side of the Island and had a swim. That sounded like fun but there is very little sand here so get used to a stony beach.
We came here in October so it was winding down for the Winter. Less Crowds but overall less activity. Our room had a Balcony right on to the Harbour Front. I would expect that it might be a little noisy in Summer / High Tourist season. Our Hotel offered rooms at the back that may have been quieter?
Also this is a Historic Island. The Greek revolutions started here and the locals are very proud of that. There was also a huge fire in 1984 that killed 4 people and they lost a great deal of tree coverage. If you do go around the island there are pockets of Trees that were saved that will give you some idea of what the landscape used to look like.
If you love the Olympics like I do, Elena Votsi a local Jeweler designed the front of the Olympic Medals since 2004 and her store is on the Harbour Front. She has a display that is worth seeing.
My wife and I stayed 2 full days and had a lovely time. No cars or Motorbikes here so you will get your steps up. You will burn more Calories but there is some great food to tempt you to put more Calories in. Great Stay - Worth It.

My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here.
My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed.
It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.

This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip.
There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch.
There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.

Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the airport .
We spent 2 nites and hired a car . This means you can drive to Rafina ( an EASY 25 min drive ) and the next day we drove back to the airport to take the tram into Monastraki Athens to go to Plaka etc and back to the airport ( 9Euro each way ) .This way no parking issues in Athens .
The Port Rafina is cute with dozens of great restuarants in the port

Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel.
Unfortunately we won't be visiting again !
Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !
