The rooms are bright, clean, and well-kept. The territory is very green, everything is within easy reach. The sea is just a 3-minute walk away, but be careful: there are small paths on the hotel grounds that lead directly to the beach. On our first day, we went the long way around and got a bit lost so make sure to use those shortcuts. If you want to go to town, walk along the beach – it’s much quicker than going around all the hotels by road. Lindos is only about 20 minutes away by bus. We traveled a lot around the island, but keep in mind that the hotel itself is quite far from the airport and old town, so plan accordingly. The staff deserves special mention – very friendly, always smiling, and wishing you a good day. It really creates a homely atmosphere. The food was simply amazing: every day there was something different, including mussels and shrimp, delicious fruits, and desserts even with baklava and other local sweets. Lovely and helpful staff, a lot of activity for kids and for adults. Amazing slides, three swimming pools in total, plenty of sunbsds, Snack bar opened with selection of salads, hotdogs. The main restaurant offering some repeated food but also every day is special grill selection. Most important every day you can get beef, chicken, pork, fish-good fish. The whole place is compact, not need to wait for food or drinks. Some people complain about drinks to sweet, but you can ask for extra soda and is not sweet anymore. It is across the road from a great beach and only a short 10 minute walk back into the main town. We added daily breakfast to our stay and it was a great decision. The Old Town was very crowded and every restaurant owner was trying to lure you in. We had some lovely meals, best pizza was at Pan & Vino outside the Old Town Walls. Best trip was the Dolce Vita booze cruise down the East Coast. The boat trip to Symi was too long and the harbour was very crowded when we arrived full of rental scooters and cars. I adore Lindos and have been visiting for many years. The people are lovely and the place is a foodies delight. The beaches are lovely and safe for children, as no tides. Nice hotel overall, perfect stay for a relaxing holiday! Good location, right next to the beach! Similar hotels in the area are separated from their own private beach by a road, so having the beach right next to the hotel is a greate advantage of this hotel! All-inclusive service was exactly as described: great variety of foods, alcohol free and also alcoholic bevarages are served from 10:00 in the bars (including heavenly frappes!), but on some days champagne was available for breakfast. Snack bar also had a great variety of foods. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind! Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village on top of it. Beautiful beaches, scattered all around the island. Some of them reachable by bus, taxi or on foot, others are reachable by taxi boat. Love Agios Nikolaos and fish tavern on it with fresh wild fish, love swimming from Agia Marina to small island with the little church there. Of course, Agios Georgios is incredible place. The island is not for mass tourism, of course the boats come during a day, but most of them are not staying overnight. Some wildlife - spotted seal on the beach in Nimborio, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach. Excellent taverna Tholos, close to port, our long time favorite, also liked a lot Zoe and Kali strata in the village. And for a Christian, it is a must to visit both Archangel Michael monasteries - Panormitis (newer) and Roukouniotis (older) with frescoes that date back to 15th century. Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. Note this review is for Stegna, not the main village on the hill. Its really a lovely spot for a beach style holiday. Places for fishing, chilling, enjoying eating, a lovely walk. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you.
