Everything was perfect ! The location of the hotel is the best in Myrties and Masouri. Drinking our coctails by the pool at the sunset is a wonderful experience. Even you can have a dinner or lunch (international cuisine) with a Telendos view. The staff are very helpfull and kind. The rooms are so well designed. dental kit or any other stuff is provided. The owners (husband and wife) are so welcoming and friendly. They made our vacation wonderful cause its my husbands 40th birthday they make us gestures. I wish to send them all best regards and thanks

The property is located in a very beautiful spot with a wonderful view of the harbor, something not often mentioned in other reviews. Kalymnos is truly enchanting, and ARCHONTIKO definitely adds to the charm of the stay. Vallia, who handles all communication and organization before arrival, makes you feel as if she is right there. She is extremely polite, discreet, and responsive. She provided us with all the necessary information about the island, how to get there, and what to visit, which made the experience much easier and more familiar. We felt safe with her guidance, whereas in other trips we have sometimes felt insecure. It is like having a caring motherly figure who thinks of you and takes care of you so hospitable, professional, and precise in every detail. On the other hand, the owner, George, is very talkative and often tires guests, as he tends to speak endlessly about himself and his achievements. If someone is looking for peace and discretion, this might become an issue. Usually when you go on holiday, you expect calmness, kindness, smiles, and consistency. At ARCHONTIKO, things can sometimes feel unorganized, with rushed handling and uncertainty about room readiness. While most hotels worldwide follow the standard check-out at 11:00 and check-in from 14:00–15:00, here the schedule seems to work the opposite way. Overall, the location and pre-arrival communication are at a very high level. If you are traveling to Kalymnos, ARCHONTIKO does offer beautiful harbor views and the sense of safety that comes from dealing with Vallia through messages or WhatsApp. However, the owner’s approach may not feel as professional as expected and can be tiring for some. I will give it 10/10 because Vallia is a professional and tries very hard. Also with Vallia you can have real political discussions of the two countries objectively. On the phone I told her to become the Prime Minister of the country. The first Lady in your country.

This is possibly our favourite hotel in Greece. The rooms are comfortable, with a fridge that keeps drinks super cold, great air con, a spacious balcony and stunning views from all sides. It’s also really peaceful. The pool area is great and well maintained with (again!) spectacular views across to Kalymnos. The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful; from arriving to be in our room, it was less than one minute. We’ll be back next year - definitely.

    The hotel has spectacular location, you have amazing view of the sea and on the other side of the mountines, whixh are climber heaven :) we didnt know that before booking :) the vies is something to see. The “Grande Grotta” is woooow. The pool is great, the atmosphere is amazing, Kalymnos is love at first side. Its still not touristish and still you find here little shops, amazing people and restaurants. Definitely worth to visit

    A very special place that we felt like home. Poppy is so kind and helpful and full of energy! It was our first time in Kalymnos and our apartment was perfect! The place is near restaurants, a small market and a nice beach and in a very pleasant and silent area. Next time we will stay again at Vasilis for sure.     Very nice place, hosts are very kind and they are always ready to help you. Lovely place with great view from the balcony. ( The Google map show the wrong place, but if you put Avras Kalymnos to map- then it is a correct place.) The apartapents situated near the main road where you can easily find shops, restaurants and bars.

    Great atmosphere, traditional decoration of the stoned rooms add to that. Everything is in walking distance. The view of the island of Telendos as well as the sunset from our balcony was the highlight of our stay! Louis and his wife welcomed us warmly. We totally recommend staying here!

    Lovely chilled and laid back island. Great activities, we were there for a family holiday but the amazing climbing was pretty central and the diving (Kalymnos Diving Club) was great too. Beaches not busy and plenty of then (if small) all around the island. Very good value and food always of a good standard. We rented a car, the island is easy to get around and nowhere is very far

    Small, friendly, has everything you need: lovely beach, wonderful views, great shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and helpful. You can hire a boat, take a ferry to Telendos where you can go for a walk, watch a sunset and go for a great meal.

    The relatively quiet and friendly location with lovely views, very Greek island with narrow roads and very friendly people. The exception being at certain times of the day motor scooters are buzzing through the narrow roads but this was not a problem for us.

    Panormos is a good place to stay when you visit Kalymnos island because of its location (close to the port, Kalymnos capital, museums, sightseeing and to beaches and restaurants on the other hand). The problem with all of the island is that there are nowhere sidewalks and streets are so narrow that if two cars meet one of them should back off , because there is not enough space for both of them (!!!!) and pedestrians are in a real danger .

    Kalymos main town is very big busy if you like it busy it’s ideal. There’s lots of burners and bars. It’s easy to catch fairies from the port and I recommend hiring a car to go around the island. We like the north tip of the island best.

    Great place to rock climb better later in the year to avoid the crowds. I was based in Masouri and teamed up with other Canadian climbers. Restaurants all good and reasonable prices. I prefer a cooked breakfast on climbing days so very good at the Ambience. Some of the newer climbing areas are less polished than the older areas but the rock can be very sharp. As people are concentrated in Masouri the social scene is preferable compared to Leonidio, and the climbing just as good in both locations. A car is needed in Leonidio but not so much in Kalymnos. Telendos has great climbing too as well as some spectacular multi-pitch routes.

    i ll write some comments for the whole island not only myrties. myrties is the main tourist spot on the island. lots of restaurants (we ate twice at la kambusa italian restaurant and the food was really good. try the pasta-excellent). there is a small harbor and within 3 minutes a boat can take you to island telendos (really cheap 3 euros going-2 coming back). we fell in love with emporeios village at the northern part of the island. quite beaches only you and ... goats from local farmers, nice restaurants (ate both at kyma & dreamcatcher). paid no more than 20euros per person. other beaches we enjoyed was platys gyalos semi organised but cheap for beverages-coffee. dont miss the daily trip to pserimos, fantastic beach plus every 3 hours or so tourist ships/pirate ships arrive with loads of tourists. for a while. then again .... peace. visit kalymnos you ll be amazed. explore greece beyond the obvious.

    I was on a climbing holiday and it was much more peaceful than Masouri, if that is what you like. Meeting friends in Masouri in the evening was awkward because of travel and drink driving. However, I did drink less as a result and probably felt better.

    Emporios is great if you like beautiful and quiet places. It is literally at the end of the road in Kalymnos so very little car or scooter traffic. Lots of restaurants to choose from, a mini mart, a small farm for fresh ingredients and a beautiful beach.
