Truly a beautiful property, everything was finished to a high standard and we felt super comfortable here. Having a private pool and the courtyard area was a highlight, so lovely to relax there! It was a great experience. As soon as we entered the hotel, we met Ms. Efthelyhia, the best representative of Greek hospitality. Her smiling face fascinated us with her sincerity and charity. The location of the hotel is excellent, located by the sea in the harbour. You can meet all your needs such as grocery, restaurant, pharmacy, rent a car, etc. within a maximum of 5 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Greece. The charismatic gentleman in this area helped us whatever we wanted. I would like to thank him here. We met an excellent service every morning. The rooms were very modern, very elegant and stylish. We had everything we needed. We extended our accommodation and changed rooms. The cleaning lady quickly prepared our new room and delivered sparkling. The quality of service was so high that when I got to the door of the room, I was trying to find the card, and the officer who saw this quickly helped by bringing the card to me which is on the 1st floor. I didn't even have to go to the reception. The hotel door is locked at night and only opens with room cards. It is therefore quite safe. You can park your car within 2-3 minutes' walk of the hotel. Efharisto para poli!

Absolutely stunning location and facilities. Staff were exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much hassle for them. Warm reception and incredible room. The view in the evening was amazing of the moon over the water and was extremely easy to drive to from Milos port. Waiting staff were very helpful in regards to allergens and food flexibility at breakfast. Thank you!

Our stay at Volcano Luxury Suites was amazing!!! Every day they served our breakfast in our room at the time that we wanted and everything was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with everything we asked for. The hot tub in our balcony was clean and at the perfect temperature in order to enjoy it during the day. Highly recommended this place to have the most relaxing and welcoming atmosphere ever.

The Island of Lovers

Known as the island of lovers because of the statue of Aphrodite (“Venus of Milo”), which is exhibited in the Louvre Museum of Paris, Milos is very unique thanks to its spectacular rock structures. This romantic destination is a great choice for honeymooners.

Rich in history, Milos was one of the earliest civilisations of the Cyclades islands. Built on a hill overlooking the sea, the picturesque town of Plaka is the island’s capital. Adamas is the main port and offers a selection of tourist facilities and accommodation.

Visit the small fishing village of Pollonia and relax in one of the traditional taverns by the waterfront. Booking.com will help you find a nice hotel, guest house or apartment in the area. Firopotamos is a graphic small village with crystal clear blue waters and little fishermen houses.

Milos has some of the most famous Greek beaches like the sandy beach of Tsigrado and the beautiful organised beach of Agia Kiriaki. The volcanic beach of Sarakiniko is the most photographed one, while the Paleochori is a popular touristic resort with watersports facilities.

Everithing was above expectation and we would like to special thank to Yannis who welcomed us in the first night (quite late) when we arrived and taking care of us during our stay, for all the special time we have in Milos Cove. The staff was great and special thanks to Stavroula who care about us every morning at breakfast, and mostly to the bartender lady at main pool bar. Many thanks to Leonidas and the golfcar guys who was very helpful. Amazing place, amazing people!

    Pollonia is lovely.

    Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beach

    Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get...

    Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get to a lot of it within 20 min drive. Most of the beaches we found are not organized (no lounge chairs and no umbrellas), which makes for beautiful beaches but not a lot of shade. Which means you need to bring those items with you if you want to relax on the beach when the sun is strong. Provatas is on the southern side of Milos and most beaches on this side of the island are off long dirt/sandy roads and are very popular, so you need to go early to park near the beach and have a car that can handle the steep dirt rocky roads. But again, bring something that can give you shade, we found the tourist maps were wrong with which beaches actually are organized. The beaches and rocks formation on Milos are absolutely gorgeous, you will love it! Personally, we preferred to stay out of the town in places like Provatas, to get away from all the crowds and traffic. Once you are out of the main towns, the crowds and traffic drop off quickly and you have a very quiet, peaceful stay.

    If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot. It was a postcard moment at a truly wonderful venue. The Artemis Seaside Resort was the highlight, but the journey getting there, especially on an ATV, was amazing. The views are breathtaking and everyone we met was amazing. Don't leave Milos until you visit this area, it's worth the incredible drive!

    Mytakas beach is the perfect beach to relax daily. We also visited Sarakiniko beach which was awesome as well as Fyriplaka beach, but it was always nice to come back to Mytakas beach for a quieter experience. We ate in Plaka, Klima, and Pollonia. We loved Astakas in Klima albeit the drive down was difficult on the narrow hilly road. Getting around Milos in general was very easy. We recommed going to Plaka early to find parking and walk around and shop before the dinner crowds arrive.

    Im sure instagram is responsible for the hype around Klima, and its totally understandable, so be prepared for it to be very busy in high season. But it really is beautiful, and if youre on Milos for a few days, its somewhere you definitely need to see.

    Triovasalos is very conveniently located: provides easy access to the Hora (Plaka) and is central to the north-east part of the island. The central road provides a number of amenities (best souvlaki, excellent coffee shop, banks and a number of other shops). However, the central road (Karodromos) is quite busy and practically impossible to walk, since there are no pavements.

    Very beautiful beach.

    Very beautiful beach. A nice long beach that is not too busy. The sea colour is lovely. There are large white stones along the edges that are very pretty, just hard on the feet. We had a lovely swim here. Some boat trips also leave from here. There is a pretty good restaurant on the beach front - just a little pricy.

    This accommodation was perfectly located with a 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the Adamantas bus stop/ferry port. The room was incredible especially for the value. I highly recommend to budget travelers to Milos!
