We were upgraded at checking in to a lovely prestigious suite which was spacious and comfortable with it's own private pool and lovely views of the adjacent mountain. Staff attention was excellent as was the buffet breakfast with a wide choice of delicious food.

I wish i could grade more then 10. Mikella and nikolas the angels, were super helping and got out of their way to solve us a problem we had. They are truely amazing. Also, the place is super clean and great and we wish they had a room for more days. The place has beautiful inviting garden with great atmosphere and sitting corners. The tavern run by nikolas, has the best food we ate in rhodes by far. Kalavrada is a beautiful village close to the beach and to everything we need with extremely possitive energies. Thank you very much for all you did for us!! You have a place to stay when you come to Israel.

Our five-night stay at this boutique hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and genuine care that it truly felt like we were staying with family. The highlight of our mornings was the outstanding breakfast, freshly prepared for us each day. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a refreshing start, and the homemade pancakes were an absolute hit with our daughters – we would be so grateful to get the recipe! What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. Panos, the owner, is an incredibly kind and caring host. His generosity is remarkable, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, assisting us with every request, big or small. Panos and Georgia, we cannot thank you enough for your warm and attentive hospitality. You made our trip to Rhodes so special. The staff here were amazing, they gave us great recommendations of things to do upon arrival. They also went above and beyond sourcing a birthday cake as it was my partners birthday whilst we were there. Towels and bedding were changed every day without disturbance. Our room was a good size and so was the bathroom, also a nice shower head with decent pressure. There was a smart tv, so we could watch our own Netflix too. They allowed us a late check in as our flight got in later than the check in hours, which was very kind as there’s not a 24 hour reception. We are very happy with our stay here and will return and recommend to everyone. The location is also a great spot as everything you need is in walking distance, but is not near noisy late night bars. 10/10 stay for a short holiday/break away!

Still a Wonder

Wonderful Rhodes has amazing beaches, nightlife and history. Its capital – Rhodes Town – once boasted the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

Although sadly no trace of it exists in the harbour, its Old Town is still UNESCO World Heritage listed. This is because of the magnificent Palace of the Grand Master, a 14th-century castle once home to the Knights Hospitaller.

Just around the coast is Faliraki, the nightlife hotspot with clubs, bars and restaurants galore. Afantou and Kolymbia to the south have long, golden beaches, but the island’s crowning glory has to be Lindos. If you arrive by sea, you could be forgiven for thinking that you’ve reached paradise.

Home to some of the best Rhodes hotels, Lindos is a picture-perfect town with whitewashed houses hugging the sides of a hill that is topped with remains of an acropolis. On the other side of the hill is St Paul’s Bay where the apostle’s boat reportedly ran aground.

Lardos and Kiotari further south have a good range of Rhodes hotels by the beach available on Booking.com, while on the other side of the island Kremasti and neighbouring Trianda (also known as Ialysos) have a good range of watersports and quick transfers from Rhodes Airport.

    We were upgraded to a room with full sea view and a balcony. Staff was helpful and smiling. We always found a sunbed in the first row, one step from the beach. The beach is sandy and the sand gets hot during the day, so the sunbeds in the lawn are really a good idea, much better than sunbeds on the beach, that do not belong to the hotel. Beach towels are provided for free, every day. Next to this hotel there is a five star hotel of the same group. I found our accommodation pretty convenient, I would not change for the five star. We were in half board and we were happy with the food: choice is really very wide, quality is good.

    The food was lovely and there was always something to chose from regardless if you are a meat eater or if you are vegetarian. The pool was fantastic with a choice of a small one for smaller children and family pool with choice of depths, plus a pool with slides. Cyprotel Faliraki is a lovely, clean hotel, with lovely staff, superb entertainment shows and there is absolutely not one thing I can fault. Many thanks to everyone who made mine and my son's stay - an amazing experience :)

    My booked was OK and the room was spacious, airy with comfy bed, excellent mattress and pillows, very clean with many amenities inside. Fast WIFI was available in whole places of the hotel. Hotel had also a restaurant which offered us a culinary journey of flavours. From gourmet international dishes to exquisite local cuisine, the dining experience was a treat for the taste buds. I found this so amazing that I can't help but want to recommend it to everyone. It's truly worth it!

    We enjoyed in our honeymood there, the place is nice and elegant, beach is pretty clean and the food is good. The location is nice, it's easy to catch a bus nearby to go to the town and explore it, the town is pretty interesting as well. They also have the entertainment every night, we loved The Beatles guys the most. Everything was great, we might come back. We only wish that there was a free reservation for Asian restourant to try it as well, but maybe next time. :D

    The Old Town was very crowded and every restaurant owner was trying to lure you in. We had some lovely meals, best pizza was at Pan & Vino outside the Old Town Walls. Best trip was the Dolce Vita booze cruise down the East Coast. The boat trip to Symi was too long and the harbour was very crowded when we arrived full of rental scooters and cars. Worst trip was bus ride to seven springs, the bus stopped at every single bus stop probably close to 60 stops on the way.

Everything is within walking distance. And if you need to go somewhere further - excellent and inexpensive public transport.

    Nice hotel overall, perfect stay for a relaxing holiday! Good location, right next to the beach! Similar hotels in the area are separated from their own private beach by a road, so having the beach right next to the hotel is a greate advantage of this hotel! All-inclusive service was exactly as described: great variety of foods, alcohol free and also alcoholic bevarages are served from 10:00 in the bars (including heavenly frappes!), but on some days champagne was available for breakfast. Snack bar also had a great variety of foods. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind! Hotel is nicely designed, lot of areas to relax without being overly crowded by guests.

As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We all enjoyed this special little bar, its food, cocktails, beer and view of the sunset.

    We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. The beach also had a rocky seabed and unclear water, which made swimming less enjoyable. Overall, a good experience with a few areas that could be improved.

    Note this review is for Stegna, not the main village on the hill. Its really a lovely spot for a beach style holiday. Places for fishing, chilling, enjoying eating, a lovely walk. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you. We did not know there was a kayak company on site so we had pre-booked with Trekking Hellas so had to drive North to the start but it was a lovely trip with double kayaks.

    All staff amazing except the pool service bar.

    All staff amazing except the pool service bar. Not attentive enough, had to go for drinks myself to be told we will come to you then it took at least half an hour! One of the lunches that I ordered eventually turned up and was completely cold, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said it was the kitchens fault! Shame really, the rest of the place and the staff were really good. The on-site restaurants are amazing.

    Pefki is a lovely place to stay, much less buisier than Lindos next door which pulls large number of visitors during the day. Main Lee beach is sandy with plentyfull sunbeds, spaces on the eastern side of the beach otherwise. Very Good choice of restaraunts Nikolas and Tsambikos being our favourites. Car hire with full insurance for a week cost us £190 in Pefkos, necessary for conveniance but not essential as there is a good bus sevice along the main east coast road.

    We had a truly wonderful stay at Arfna Villas. The villa is modern, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The place was extremely clean and well maintained, which made us feel at home right away. The hosts were amazing, very kind and helpful. They even allowed us to check in early and check out late without any extra charge, which we really appreciated. The villa is located a bit outside of the main town and other nearby areas, so it’s best suited if you rent a car to get around easily. For us this wasn’t a problem and it added to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the villa exceeded our expectations and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rhodes.
