Hotel was completely on-point and what we hoped for based on the listing. Fabulous location, clean & modern facilities. Neat little gym / health Center. Helpful staff eg happy to open the gym early ahead of regular hours, happy for us to store luggage after checkout etc. I reckon it’s by far the best hotel overall in Split.

The stay in the hotel was a vacation itself. I would spend all the time in the Spa and my 25th floor room. Amazing view, the attention to every detail (the smell in the spa, lemon water, calming music, the towels soft and good smelling) , everything was perfect.

This hotel is truly perfect. The location offers its guests a perfect view and the opportunity to access the beach within minutes. Here you’ll find crystal clear water. The pools are nice and offer a great ocean view as well. During our stay we had a breakfast buffet included which was truly outstanding. The hotel offers you free parking if needed but you can walk to Makarska (it’s an amazing hike with a beautiful view) and to Tucepi within minutes. We can highly recommend this amazing hotel to anyone.

The hotel looks amazing inside and out, and it is in a great location, just a few meters from the beach. It has pools, sauna, jacuzzi, hairdresser, manicure, massage etc.. great kids play room with lots of toys and entertainment. There was a different event every day, such as water aerobics in the outside pool and face paiting for kids. The hotel is very clean and the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. Room was specious with balcony and great view of the Vodice. Food is great, so many options to choose from and everything is delicious!! Dubrovnik, even in shoulder season, felt too touristy.

Dubrovnik, even in shoulder season, felt too touristy. There was no opportunity for individual interaction with local people except for those in the tourism industry. Although all people we interacted with in various tourist establishment were professional, it felt very transactional. Apart from the Old Town and a couple of islands locally, there was not much to do - you can get it all over in two days! Plus travel to Dubrovnik from Zadar was painful - 9.5 hours by bus with 37 stops! It appears that FlixBus in Dalmatia is unlike in other areas - it is more like a local bus service (although we did get fantastic views of the coastline), the bus actually had standing passengers an some prebooked customers had to stand!

Historic Split was every bit the eye opener we hoped it would be, a modern city 5 minutes from natural beaches ideal for swimming. But the crowning aspect is the way Croatians have used their historical building to continue living in, using as restaurants, homes, apartments and flats. It was lovely to see Roman architecture being used that way.

Lovely and very interesting island with amazing beaches nearby, great biking opportunities, historic places to visit, wonderful restaurants, friendly people and amazing sites around every bend. We stayed in the old town, in a building built around 1400, and explored from there. The old town was so fun and small enough that you could walk everywhere, including to the ferry stations, so the only time we used a car was when we took a day to drive to several beaches around the island, each one amazing.

We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!
