- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,687 reviewsGreat variety of food and drinks available at every meal (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner), and throughout the day. The staff was very polite and informative and always strived to help at any request. The room was clean and modern (we even got a free upgrade to a bigger one than booked which was great!) and had all the necessary facilities. Many activities were available, from renting bikes to tennis courts, pool aerobics and many more! The beach was so close to the hotel that you could grab a drink, take a couple of steps and be on the sea already. All in all an amazing experience!Guest review byLukaCroatia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 1,667 reviewsEverything was perfect. The hotel is right by the sea, which is really great. We had a family room, which was spacious and big, even the balcony was spacious with a sea view. Just the mattresses in the bed could be better , otherwise everything was perfect, even the food was very tasty. Every evening we took a walk into town. There was always some music playing and lots of souvenir stalls.Guest review byZlaticaSlovakia

Crowds go with the territory, so know what to expect and try...
Crowds go with the territory, so know what to expect and try to avoid peak times. Don't ask me how though. EU accession means that costs are now on a par with other destinations, and tipping culture has rapidly become established, to a fault. Bring lots of money. The cable car pricing is outrageous. Take a taxi up instead, but you may have little choice on the way back down. Pro tip: the Dubrovnik Pass represents great value if you are planning to walk the walls. It costs the same as the walls alone, and provides free access to a variety of other attractions, and also free bus travel. Usually skeptical about such things, not buying this was a mistake.Guest review byAnthonyIreland - 10.0

We travelled beginning of October, one day stay over at the start before a boat trip and then again for one day after a week. Weather was cool-ish at night. Many restaurants and shops within the old town, no need to venture far away. Food and wine prices were higher than expected, exceeding that of most cities in Italy, which is the last European country we have visited in the past year. Clothing was not expensive, though. Do a tuktuk ride through the rest of city and have an ice cream at one of the l'Amore shops, which has a great variety of flavors.Guest review byCiscoSouth Africa - 10.0

Great city. perfect old town and most importantly the promenade was simply beautiful. Just the right level of tourists - did not feel overwhelmingly crowded. Brilliant sunsets. Well connected for local sights such as Plitvice National Park, Kornati National Park, Nin town (not to be missed).Guest review byParitoshUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Trogir is a small town which can be seen very quickly. Its ancient and narrow streets are filled with cafes and shops. Very charming and fun to visit. Cobblestone streets and is very lively at night. Huge yachts are docked along the main Riva.Guest review byGeorgeUnited States - 10.0

This was the perfect Adriatic vacation. Best mix of historical sites, sea-side exursions, excellent restaurants, and time to relax as well. Be prepared to walk a lot and have proper footware for walking on the rocky beaches.Guest review byHNildiHungary - 10.0

Very nice town with great restaurants and bars overlooking the harbour. Only 7 mins taxi ride from Dubrovnik airport. Boat rides into Dubrovnik take around 50 mins, local bus takes about the same time. Nice places within easy walking distance for a swim in the sea. Would highly recommend Cavtat for a relaxing break.Guest review byKevinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Makarska is a perfect size for exploring on foot.
Makarska is a perfect size for exploring on foot. It has a beautiful old town and is supplied with some great eating places. I would recommend Gastro Diva for a local eating experience. The beaches are good and there are some lovely walks around the peninsula.Guest review byJaneCroatia - 10.0
Šibenik is a very beautiful place.
Šibenik is a very beautiful place. I came there mainly for the Ship Festival, so my stay was also full of interesting music. That's why I didn't have much time to see the sights. I would definitely like to go back there someday and see the city a little more.Guest review byAnonymousCzech Republic - 10.0
Lovely and very interesting island with amazing beaches...
Lovely and very interesting island with amazing beaches nearby, great biking opportunities, historic places to visit, wonderful restaurants, friendly people and amazing sites around every bend. We stayed in the old town, in a building built around 1400, and explored from there. The old town was so fun and small enough that you could walk everywhere, including to the ferry stations, so the only time we used a car was when we took a day to drive to several beaches around the island, each one amazing.Guest review by4BeachcombersUnited States - 10.0
We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik...
We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!Guest review byBarbaraUnited States
