- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 7 reviewsAntonella was waiting for us at the properties and showed us around, explaining all the features. The properties were beautifully decorated, in an amazing location right at the waterfront. Antonella and Nina were incredibly welcoming hosts. Nina even baked a traditional Croatian cake for us. We felt very spoilt and well cared for. Antonella even organised a water and land taxi to take us to our next destination. Thank you, both, for a wonderful holiday. We will be back!Guest review bySchubertAustralia

Lopud is a lovely island with no cars.
Lopud is a lovely island with no cars. Ideal for a holiday where you want to chill and visit other islands. The restaurants are lovely and locals very friendly. Wonderful sunsets and scenery. The sea is warm and crystal clear. Close to Dubrovnik and facilities should you wish to explore elsewhere.Guest review byAlysonJersey - 10.0

Very relaxed island, not somewhere to go if you like the bust night life & entertainment on tap. This is a place to kick back & take life a more leisurely pace. We went with our family of 11, 4 young adult children & partners, 1 teen & ourselves. There was enough to keep everyone occupied, beach, bars, boat trips, walking, reading, card games. Getting to the island is easily accessed by a ferry service & there are plenty of smaller boats for hire if those times don’t suit. There is also a good bus service to the other side of the island for a change in scenery. A lovely place for a holiday.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Absolutely beautiful setting complemented by kind and attentive staff who really made us feel at home. The island itself has stunning views and lovely beaches (also with shade/ child friendly options). Kalamota staff went the extra mile and we wish we could return!Guest review byMelissaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Very beautiful nature and very nice people.
Very beautiful nature and very nice people. If you like to walk, then the place suits you. There are no cars on the island. There are several routes for hiking. Small paths and sometimes rocky. Old churches and ruins. Beautiful views of the mountains and the sea. A green island. Sandy beaches, clear turquoise water. The place is suitable for relaxation. Not too many people. Best restaurants Obala and Peggy's.Guest review byEveliinaFinland - 8.0
Quiet sleepy little harbour that time has forgotten.
Quiet sleepy little harbour that time has forgotten. Two expensive restaurants and two bars. One small grocery store which ran out of basics like milk & fruit when we were there. A couple of small pebbly beaches Stunning natural scenery.Guest review byLorraineUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We went in June at stayed in Gornje Celo was was lovely and peaceful, there was bar nearby and a restaurant, the only problem being that the restaurant was only open at lunchtime (this changes 1st July) which meant we had to walk to Donje Celo where there is a really nice restaurant (Konoba Stari Miri) on the waters edge with great sunsets. The main ferry terminal and island only food shop are also located here it is about 23mins walk from one village to the next. There is a local ferry that goes from Dubrovnik to Gornje Celo but you will need to check with host as the timings are not obvious. The shop on island has most essentials but is only open certain times, probably best to stock up on mainland. There are no cars on the island so it is very peaceful. Ferry to Dubrovnik is reasonably priced and easily booked online. Good base to visit Dubrovnik.Guest review byBrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lopud is great for a relaxing holiday with no cars and a friendly atmosphere. The views and the sunsets are exceptional. Unfortunately some of the restaurants have now become too expensive for UK visitors.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It's a perfect little.village with a few places to eat and plenty of swimming and walking. However I think a week is enough. Two weeks was a bit much. Make sure you visit the other side which has great restaurants (Kod marka!) And a fab beach and beach bar with crazy views. Balun bar and restaurant in suradad is the best value, great pizza and lovely staff. Plus a great place to sit for a few hours. Wine tasting on the island was funGuest review byTessUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We stayed in the island for 6 days, which was really great since we were with kids and they enjoyed Sandy beaches. Other tif you travel without kids I think it might seem too longue for this island (if you like active holidays !)Guest review byVictoria AngerFrance
