- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 154 reviewsThe location was superb. Situated near the "unofficial" entry called either P3 or the "Auxiliary Flora Entrance". It's unofficial because the website doesn't list P3 but in any case Etno Garden Apartments is about a 5 min walk to this entry. No tickets are sold here. Just a hut that is manned starting at 7am to check your tickets. You will need to buy them online (recommended) or go to Entrance 1 or 2 and buy them there. Having them in advance though is key then you can just walk from Etno to get into the park. No need to deal with driving/parking. Last photo of map, I've circled P3 entry near Etno in red. Once through the checkpoint you walk down to the boat landing where you can catch one of the ferries to go to other parts of the park. I'd recommend uploading the Plitvice Mobile app (green background with a bear outlined in white) as it lays out different walking programs as well as info about the park and a good map. It's also easy to walk from Etno to the trails that are outside of the park but run along the top ridge. They offer great views during an early morning or evening walk. The other very surprising thing we found was their restaurant. We were not anticipating that we'd be able to find a decent meal due to the remoteness of the lake park. However Etno actually offered a great restaurant/menu selection with super friendly servers/service. We were there 3 days/two nights and ate every meal at the restaurant because it was not just convenient but delicious. The check in was great and easy. We arrived a bit early for check in but that was not a problem. Our apartments were ready (we were two couples, renting 2 apartments next door to each other) and the young guy that checked us in could not have been nicer. Also offering us good suggestions on how to tour the park. The staff continued to be attentive during our whole visit.Guest review byMicheleFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 563 reviewsCamping Korana was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The location is ideal – just the right distance from the park, making it easy to get there early while still enjoying some peace and quiet away from the crowds. The campsite itself was spotless. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay super comfortable. One of the highlights was the breakfast – generous, fresh, and a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the lakes.Guest review byPatriziaUnited States
- From $238.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,457 reviewsThe staff truly exceeded our expectations. Why? They were incredibly attentive – answering all our questions, giving helpful tips about visiting Plitvice Lakes, and even suggesting ways to keep our child entertained within the hotel grounds. After we checked out, they even called us about some items we had forgotten – a thoughtful gesture we really appreciated. The restaurant was also excellent. We tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner – everything was delicious. Top-level service. Thank you!Guest review byAndriyBUkraine

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is an amazing natural wonder. We walked part of the E route and all of the F route. We accessed this from Entrance #2. Each route was very well signed. We highly recommend making a full day stop here and staying at a B&B close by.Guest review byBarbara77055United States - 8.0
We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice.
We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice. We booked our tickets a day before for 7am. I'm glad we went early as from 9am the park was very busy. We used entrance 2, for a longer walk (but not the longest), it was very good until we reached entrance 1 (by small ferry) which was extremely busy. I do not recommend entrance 1 as the queue for ferry was very very long. Generally avoid busy periods if you want to enjoy nature.Guest review byKatarzynaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.Guest review byVedranBosnia and Herzegovina - 10.0

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.Guest review byMelissaAustralia - 10.0

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.Guest review byVickiNew Zealand - 10.0
The most wonderful 2 night short stay to explore Jezerce and...
The most wonderful 2 night short stay to explore Jezerce and the magnificent UNESCO heritage Plitvice Lakes. We were using public transport to travel and got by easily inspite the same. Though the hotel does not serve lunch and dinner there is a fabulous restaurant across the road serves local cuisine. A 25 30 mins walk to the super market if u need essentials. The hotel will drop you and pick you up as well from the lakes for 10 Euro x 2 persons to entrance 2. Lala the owner is an extremely efficient Host and takes care of all your needs, and she needs to be informed of your requests. We did the 7.00 am first slot, H walk inside the Plitvice Lakes which covered both Upper and lower lakes n took around 3.30 mins fast walk and around 7-8 kms. We were the first to finish in our group of around 40 60 persons. The crowd built up towards the end of our walk from the opposite direction,by which time we had almost completed our walk. The bus inside the lake picked us up at 8.00 am from the starting point towards our first part of the walk, was an easy walk all the way slope downwards and then an electric 10 mins boat ride across the lake ,refreshed ourselves at the cafe. Kindly note that across Croatia only cash is accepted, but here in the lakes u pay by card, which we did not carry, but a wonderful lady did pay on out behalf by her card and we paid her the cash. This is NOT mentioned on your tickets ,but only at the entrance of the park. The bus stop which is the first stop (towards Zagreb) and last stop at Mukhinje (from Zagreb)is around 650 meters walk to the property from the bus stop for the Plitvice lakes is Not mentioned on your bus ticket (Flixbus)and the walk takes 10 mins with your bags ,and a small part of the walk is on the highway on the side, while the rest of the walk winds through an internal road. In the evenings we just explored the neighbourhood fields n internal village roads and loved it.Guest review byjimmyIndia - 8.0

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.Guest review byMonikaUnited States - 8.0

I think this place for relaxing like our Carpathians in Ukraine. Calm, nature, views and just you (at least in the evening). I stayed for one night because visited Plitvice lakes. For that trip in my opinion this place not very suitable - 8km from the park. You can get there just by car or taxi. There is no public transport or I don’t know about it. Although I enjoyed my stay.Guest review byOksanaUkraine - 10.0
The waterfalls were amazing.
The waterfalls were amazing. The color of the lake water was so clear, looked like glass. Rustiic boardwalks next to waterfalls added to the experience. Path markings made it easy to to find way around park.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States
