- From US$69.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 119 reviewsThe accommodation we had consisted of two en-suite bedrooms. Each was spotlessly clead, with all modern features. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good nights sleep. The ample breakfast was served in the outdoor courtyard, by some lovely ladies. We only overnighter here en-route from Bulgaria to the UK, but from our experience we would highly recommend this establishment for one or more nights stay.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom

- From US$110.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 496 reviewsThe owner was very nice and helpful. The room had a tea/coffee corner and a nice balcony to relax after a long drive. The breakfast was delicious - with fried eggs, fresh fruit and great coffee. The dinning room is very nicely decorated and the whole place is full of books in various languages. There is also a private car park at the back.Guest review byWirginiaPoland
- From US$81.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 188 reviewsThe staff went out of their way to be helpful both in terms of giving us time and information and generous touches such as complimentary sweet and savoury local pastries. We appreciated being in a friendly family run guesthouse. It was much nicer than an anonymous big hotel.Guest review byMauraIreland
- From US$92.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 399 reviewsThis house was completely destroyed in the war 1991. and was risen from the ashes. Stunned with accomplishment from the owners. Liked everything, and especially short notes from Vukovar's history on the stairways in the house. I will be back for sure!Guest review byNikolaCroatia

Vukovar is a very laid back, peaceful, and charming little city by the Danube river. It has a must-see museum of the ancient culture (ask for Vucedol), then the memorial center of the Homeland War where one can see from the close view the selection of the weaponry as a proud (and sad) memory to war for independence, freedom, and democracy, next part of which is the monumental water tower that is now converted to another memorial of our fight for freedom and independence, not to mention the memorial part of the Vukovar hospital, testifying to the hard time people of Vukovar had gone through, the memorial cemetery. Vukovar has a charming city center, with a nearby waterfront, and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants serving authentic food, including river fish (as a stew or grilled), that this area is proud of. And a visitor should not confine his visit just to Vukovar, but stretch his visit to charming nearby sites to the north (Dalj and Erdut, when vineyards, wineries, and authentic restaurants can be enjoyed) and to the southeast (Ilok, with old wine cellars and wine selections). To the west, one can visit the city of Osijek, the largest city in Slavonia region, as well as Vinkovci, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe, as historians and archeologists would like to point out.Guest review byM. Remarkable town.
Remarkable town. Busy, growing, a Mecca for entrepreneurs and established businesses, etc. Being located in an agricultural dominated environment - it offers much more than ones would expect: a folklore festival every year - called "Vinkovacke Jeseni". A must see! Also, excellent food with local recipes and ingrediencies. And ... a rich history reaching back to the Roman Empire.Guest review byGutweinUnited States - 10.0
Županja was clean and tidy, well organised and safe.
Županja was clean and tidy, well organised and safe. Some great options for food and drink. We stayed one night but we drove into the centre where had all their Christmas decorations up including an ice rink. A brilliant advert for Croatia. Lambada Bar and Grill, right in the centre, was excellent - mixed grill, enormous pizza and 2 rounds of drinks for just less than €30.Guest review byScottUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There are plenty of things to do here – from walking along the Danube or cycling, to visiting a historic castle in the town center, vineyards, or wine cellars, and even enjoying performances at the Slovak House. There are also great options for day trips in the area: Novi Sad and Vukovar are within an hour’s drive, while Belgrade or Osijek can be reached in about two hours by car. Fruška Gora is also nearby.Guest review byMatej.SandorSlovakia - 10.0

The location of the hotel – excellent, close to the motorway and easy to find. First impression- everything is new and shining. The room – big and light, equipped with all necessary items for comfortable stay. The restaurant – very well arranged with big windows looking to the garden with flowers and green bushes. There is an outside terrace where you could have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The tables - with nice arrangement and not close to each other- convenient for quite dinner and conversation. The meal for the dinner was very tasty accompanied by wine served in beautiful glasses. The breakfast – continental served personally. And the service of the staff – excellent , friendly and helpful . We remember Anita, who welcomed us at the first day and her colleague replaced her on the next day. For sure we will stay in the same hotel next time when crossing Croatia.Guest review byPavlova - 10.0

Small town.
Small town. Well located to get to the Croatia / Serbia border early in the morning. Nice square and a pedestrian area with a good number of bars / coffee shops. Not a great deal to entertain you in this area, unless you’re into hiking or bike ridingGuest review byGraham - 8.0

Zupanja is a small city, but it is located centrally to the sourounding area. Bosnia near, vinkovci near, Dakovo not to far off either. I was there in the summer visiting family and doing sight seeing in Slavonija. There is more to do in the fall/spring in the city.Guest review byrenataCroatia - 10.0
