The hotel's location is superb for walking around the city. Breakfast is also better than expected. Hotel is old and is due for renovation, but also very very clean. Value for money is really great.

I usually stay at Takler while travelling from Croatia to Budapest (if I am running late). The hotel is conveniently located and offers everything an exhausted traveller needs, including a warm welcome, a comfortable bed and an amazing breakfast. Ten on a five-point scale.

Anita and János gave us a really warm welcome. The property is brand new and designed to a really high standard. The rooms are set around a small pleasant courtyard, Our newly-decorated room was bright and well designed, with great use of space. There's a small but well-equipped kitchen and the bathroom has a spacious rainforest shower. The beds were super comfy and there's a new, almost silent air conditioner. Anita includes lots of thoughtful touches: there's a coffee maker, a kettle, coffee pods, coffee creamer and sugar, as well as bottles of water in the little fridge. All in all,, Jancsó Apartman makes other similarly priced properties look tired and jaded.
