Hotel is situated in a quite area next to the lake. When arriving by car you have 3 parking areas. Great thing is that parking was included in the hotel price. We took half board and room with the lake view. Excellent choice. Hotel room was relatively big, clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Balcony offered spectacular lake view. We loved dinner and breakfast buffet and its diversity. Food was very tasty and dinning area is very inviting. We used the wellness facilities as well ~ pool and sauna are included in the room rate. You have the opportunity to enjoy the lake view either from saunas or the pool which is offering additional zen element. Both pools are the right temperatures. Due to lake proximity, you can if you are 'brave' enough, choose to cool yourself in the lake after being in a sauna. Highly recommend the stay, would visit them again.

During my most recent visit, I had an absolutely fantastic experience! The friendly and accommodating personnel made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. The amazing level of cleanliness throughout my stay made for a cosy and secure environment. The large balcony that was connected to my room was the highlight of my trip because it offered a nice outside area where I could unwind and breathe in the fresh air. The rooms themselves were an ideal fusion of contemporary style and a welcoming, cosy ambiance. One of the most unforgettable experiences was waking up to my room's breathtaking view of Lake Balaton. Being able to see the lake so clearly out of my window was a real treat. This hotel stood out for its wonderful family-friendly ambiance. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed themselves, from the roomy accommodations to the thoughtful extras. Finding a place that so effectively serves everyone is not always simple, but this hotel got it right. Overall, I had an amazing time during my stay at this hotel. It was a memorable vacation because of the spacious balcony, the contemporary yet comfortable rooms, the spectacular view, and the welcoming atmosphere.

Nice hotel a bit outside of the city. Room is nice, very clean, climatised, bed was very comfortable. Staff is nice and helpful, breakfast was really good. I got some plant-based milk for my coffee when I asked :) There is also a nice terrace where you can just chill and relax.

My wife and I were very happy from the moment we arrived at the property. We received a warm welcome and were quickly shown to our room. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with all the comforts. It was warm, cosy and very quiet. We didn't try the restaurant (which we were told was very good) but the breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Lots of choice, freshly cooked and made with top quality ingredients. It was definitely one of the best breakfasts we've ever had in a hotel. At check out we bought some artisan beers made by the hotel, also very good.

Very nice hotel, way nicer than on the photos. Great pool for our 2 little kids (1 and 3 years old). Very friendly and helpful staff. We had booked 1 night and ended up staying for 5 in total, would definitely go back!

    All the personal at hotel it self is ultra but ultra kind. I was really impressed with professionalism even from the very young staff at restaurant. This is first impression. Hotel itself it's very well placed, all the surroundings are well taken care of. I was very pleased with all the services and the quality of this accommodation was far above any expectations.     The selection of buffet breakfast and dinner is amazing, plenty of choices, fresh fruits, different kind of meat foods, cakes, soft drinks and so on... delicious and excellent. Bed was comfortable and big, nice room with small fridge for cooling drinks. Very nice outside and inside pools and free entry to the beach at the lake.

    I found service in Balatonfüred uneven.

    I found service in Balatonfüred uneven. The low point was restaurant Il Lago at the lakefront: despite looking inviting, the service felt dismissive and the prices were high for what we received. If you don't speak Hungarian, expect German to be the main language while English is less widely used.

    Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence.

    Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence. I recommend visiting outside the main tourist season. The prices are higher, but the place offers an excellent starting point for walking, cycling or car tourism around Lake Balaton.

    Nice, small city with (paid) beach at Balaton lake. Full of tourist in the centre(parkings also paid) but if you go uphill - towards hills - you can find not only delicious wine but relaxing atmosphere.

    Veszprem is a small city, with some very impressive architecture, and interesting history. Also a nice place to just explore . The area along the riverside which passes the bottom entrance to the zoo then reaches a really nice park is a favoured walk for us . The centre has a good selection of restaurants catering to a variety of tastes and budgets . One thing to be aware of is that lunch is the Hungarian main meal of the day , therefore we have a couple of times tried to get a meal a bit later on the evening , depending on the time of year or day of the week that has sometimes been hard to find . Getting around , we can walk anywhere it’s a compact city . We generally get a lift from family to and from Station, after that we walk , if your fairly fit and can walk for about an hour I think you won’t need public transport but it is available if required . We are 3 adults so can’t say what children would like other the zoo and ice cream shops which are very good .

    Great place to be in the summer but also off-season. Clean and cozy atmosphere with just enough things to do. The beach is exceptionally clean and the water is good for swimming. Better than on the south side of the lake.

    Tapolca is a small, charming town where the Mill Pond and the Lake Cave offer a truly unique experience. Romantic little cafés, restaurants, and shopping centers (yes, even a McDonald's) are also available, catering well to those with such preferences.

    This resort was easy to get to.

    This resort was easy to get to. The Strand had everything that you need, easy access to the water, good locker facilities, entertainment and play areas for children, and some unassuming yet delicious restaurants. It is easy to travel to Tihany, Balatonfured and the whole of the North shore. There are also several good supermarkets in and around Alsóörs.

    Getting around without car isn’t easy.Luckily for us Lua resort offered enough for us to do.We weren’t crazy about the restaurants on the promenade.Still we had a great relaxing time in Balantonfured.

    The town is small and quiet-ish.

    The town is small and quiet-ish. There are some nice hikes worth taking, especially at sunset. (check the Guard Tower Area and the ) Not sure if it's all year round, but in September many of the restaurants and terraces were closing at 18:00 local time. You can take the long route north to get to Tihany, but the ferry is faster and not that expensive (in 2023 about 10 EUR for 1 car + 1 person).

    Badacsony is a another wonderful spot on Lake Balaton.

    Badacsony is a another wonderful spot on Lake Balaton. Walking around the area is very scenic. There is the port area , recently renovated, great innovative playground for kids. Also on display was a history of famous architect , with one of his structures recently renovated. The strand , the paying beach is well maintained and has lots of shady trees to sit under if hot. The hills are dotted with wineries , took many photos of the traditional housing structures. Had lots of choice for eating out from simple food to fine dining. The main town centre has lots if large trees which make it very cooling on a hot summer days ( Too many places have too much concrete ) Area well catered for those on bikes , also have hire bike shop in town.
