Our stay at Kastara Resort was absolutely fantastic—truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Fantastic hotel in the heart of Ubud Centre, within short walking distance to yoga barn, street markets, many warungs as well as more upmarket restaurants. The hotel itself adds to the charm of the beautiful Ubud, with the design blending the street life overlooked by the restaurant with the interior luxury to perfection. Magnificient hotel in Ubud. One of the best hotel I ever stayed in my entire life. The staff is so friendly and kindful, they didn't allow us to carry even 1 bag, they took care of all of our luggage. They welcomed us with a hot towel and delicious welcome drink. The rooms were spacious and very luxurious with all of the facilities we can think of (they even provided flip-flops and mosquito repellent). The view of the jungle is fascinating. You can enjoy having a hot bath with that incredible view from your room. The breakfast was very delicious with different varieties. We really enjoyed the free homemade cookies they gifted us on the second night of our stay. We enjoyed the stunning view while swimming in the infinity pool, we even ordered a floating breakfast and it was such amazing experience! Would recommend to anyone visiting Ubud, you will not regreat your stay in Jannata, I promise!

I had an amazing stay at The Udaya! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome – always friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality really stood out and made the experience even more special. The hotel itself is stunning, peaceful, clean, and beautifully designed with attention to detail. My room was spacious, comfortable, and felt like a little sanctuary. Every part of the property felt serene and well cared for. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety, perfect to start the day. I also loved the yoga classes offered on-site; they were well guided and held in such a calm and beautiful environment. Overall, The Udaya exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect place to unwind and feel cared for. I highly recommend it and would absolutely return!

Everything was absolutely amazing, starting with the people who were so welcoming. The pool is stunning as promised with breathtaking views of the jungle. The breakfast is one of the best we have had (ever) with fresh products including home made sourdough selections and plenty of choices for everyone. We also went on one of the excursion planned by the hotel, both the driver and the guide were amazing and we had a fantastic time despite of the rain. They have an animal garden where the kids can feed the goats and cows. They also have times during the day were the kids can feed the hundred Coi carps. The SPA is also gorgeous with very nice treatment options.

Wow! Kayon is absolutely incredible, the amazing photos represent exactly what you get! Three tiers of amazing pools, jacuzzis and views of the jungle. We had a private Villa and the room and amenities blew us away - indoor and outdoor shower, private pool, deck chairs etc as well as personal buttler. Great gym, excellent food and drinks and a special touch welcoming ceremony. The staff are just phenomenal and bend over backwards for you with nothing being to much to ask - a Massive thank you to Citra, Lia, Adi, Windy and Marta for all they did for us in making our stay so incredible. A must stay if in Ubud!

The view from the room is amazing! Property was clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, there is quite a lot of options and portions are big. Nice restaurant in the premises with reasonable pricing. We also used laundry services, everything was cleaned and ironed perfectly. Staff friendly as well. Also these Villas are owned by Indonesian, we really liked it. I would really recommend this place for a friend and come back myself in the future.

Ubud is the spiritual center of Bali and well worth the visit. The city center is a bit congested but fun to hang out in for sites, cafes, bars, shops and restaurant. Was great staying about 10-15min scooter ride north of the city center. Much quieter and plenty of great cafes & restaurants. The Pyramid of Chi, various waterfalls, and rice terraces were exciting and rewarding visits as well. Be sure to schedule some Yoga and meditation at your hotel or with one of the local spiritual or spa centers.

We attended a wedding at a large resort near by. We were able to walk between the two along the beach or on a path, making it the perfect place to enjoy the wedding and be with friends and have our own quiet villa to enjoy!

It is remote location with not much accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. Recommended for people who prefer calm and quiet area and has vehicle for commutation. No spas available nearby, need to go to Ubud center.

The food at the restaurant was always very good and done as per request. The landscaping at the resort was exceptional and was a pleasure to move around the resort or just sit and admire. The spa treatment was also good

It's a lovely area much quieter than Ubud but still lots of cafes etc. The Instagrammers taking selfies is a bit over the top...but they're everywhere. Great views of the rice terraces and beautiful waterfalls and temples in the area.

The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver. We went to the art market which was nice, but you could get this art anywhere in Bali for the same price. I hadn't been before and wouldn't stay here again, it's a bit 'commercial' and not tailored to tourists. The villas we stayed in were beautiful, quiet and off the main street, but there was nothing to do (other than get a driver).

Beautiful sea view, near to sanur, denpasar, and ubud, but beach has plastic and wooden trash. During rainy season, moths come out every where outside and inside villa. Kitchen is separate from the villa, overall, villa needs upgrade.

I used ubud as my base and travelled to various attractions and locations from this place I was able to visit a lot of places by hiring a car and driver for ia number of day using there local knowledge I eat at local restaurants meeting the local people 8nst3ad of using the usual tourist set ups

Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,
