There it feels like the time has stopped! - Me and my friends had really relaxing days there, far from the crazy traffic of Bali! - It’s amazing to just go to the beach in front of accommodation and swim through a big variety of exotic fishes and turtles! - We enjoyed the evening activities like: beach cinema and beach bonfire; - Really nice and helpful staff! - The food was good and the price as well(referring to a remote location).

Literally everything. Loved the fact that everything was pink, smelled amazing and was clean. Spa, breakfast and bar area all on same premises and there was a fire show and DJ every night bringing the vibes. I had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel, nestled in a serene location that provided a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle, yet remained conveniently close to the city center. The complimentary bicycles offered by the hotel were a delightful addition, allowing for leisurely exploration of the area. While the hotel's proximity to the port was a bit of a walk, approximately 25 minutes on foot, the tranquility of the surroundings more than made up for it. The highlight of my mornings was the delicious breakfast spread, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The restaurant at the hotel was equally impressive, serving delectable cuisine. But what truly sets this place apart is the cool beachfront spot where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Amazing new establishment on Gili T. The room is very spacious, comfortable and well decorated. The pool and outside area is really lovely. The location is perfect. Best stay we had in Indonesia! We stayed in a Bungalow and it was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the little outdoor area with the lounge was great too. The two pools were amazing and the employees of Villa Tahid were super friendly. We did Laundry through the hotel and it went perfectly, so did our trip that we booked with them back to Kuta. We would definitely come back here again.

    Incredible stay. First decent food I had after staying for a week in Gili T, also very decently priced for a resort. The staff is incredibly friendly, calling you by your name since day 1. There are turtles right outside and the beach is just stunning, turquoise sea and fine white sand. Perfect spot if you want to chill and relax, but not much to do in Gili Meno. I barely left the resort and was amazing, they have everything you can think of. The massages are slightly overpriced but well, you are in a small island and that’s how they make a living. They have cinema nights every other night and it’s just amazing to watch a movie with popcorn under the starry sky. As a female solo traveler, I felt very safe too. 10/10 and absolutely amazing stay!

    Everything was beyond excepcional. The room was gigantic and the outdoor bathroom was incredible. The location is right in front of the beach and is possible to enjoy the sunset from there. Make sure you bring beach shoes because of the corals, since is difficult to enter the sea without them. They rent bikes for very accessible value and is definitely worth to rent a bike and tour around the island. The food was delicious. We definitely recommend the Indonesia Rijstafel. All workers were very kind and helpful.

    Great location within a buzzing atmosphere. They provide lots of trips, bike rental and scuba diving lessons. The food menu was great and breakfast was really yummy (served until 3:30pm too). We ended up arriving very late (and tired) as our ferry was cancelled and the staff were so accommodating by letting us check in the following day and helping with our bags. Great vibes and lovely hotel.

    It’s a small island and you can walk or cycle it.

    It’s a small island and you can walk or cycle it. There’s only horse drawn taxis or electric scooters and bicycles. The island has everything from quiet to party and great food. The beaches are lovely and we swam and snorkelled everyday. Saw turtles numerous times from the hotel beach as well as on group and personal trips which are really reasonable. It really is a great island.

    The perfect island for feeling the peaceful island vibes of gilli and a great spot for fresh fish grill food on the beaches and many more great diverse restaurants which will not disappoint!! There are also plenty of amazing warungs to eat local food. Best spot for snorkeling is at “Turtle point” on the East side of Gilli Air and sitting at Manta Taquiria for drinks and great food at great prices!!

    The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. But if you want peace and quiet and to enjoy the sea, Gili Meno is the perfect choice.

    If you are over 35, or a couple, this island may not be for...

    If you are over 35, or a couple, this island may not be for you. Gili T is more for partying and Instagram people. The centre of the village is just crammed with horse carts, ebikes, bicycles and people. It is not really very relaxing to stroll around. Prices are higher than everywhere else (e.g. Bali or Gili A). At night it is just a mass of people drinking shots, and partying hard. EVERYONE is there to take pictures of themselves. So there are all these strange activities, like a sunrise paddleboard tour that lasts about 15 minutes (sole purpose is to take photos) or sunset horseback riding that takes 10-15 minutes (sole purpose is to take photos). No one hangs out and just vibes - it's all about the photos. I am also aware that Gili T is a muslim island and the swim suits that women were wearing were just indecent. I just wonder what the locals think about it. But the island itself, the diving, the snorkeling, the turtles are all great. The locals are fun and very cool. Honestly, there is nothing that can be done about the tourists... everyone is obsessed with photographing themselves these days and showing off their bare bottom.

    A really beautiful island, so relaxing with lots of stunning beaches and a lovely laid back feel. Great snorkelling, lots of turtles & superb food & cocktails!! We also went to Gilli air but we much preferred Gilli menu, it’s pure paradise.

    The place is amazing, words can’t describe the feeling and vibe of this cityyy! Must go and stay for atleast 3/4 days. This island runs on horse carts and cycles! The party scene is lit! Scubaa- outstanding

    Beautiful island with some amazing beaches.

    Beautiful island with some amazing beaches. Turtle beach was our favourite. Renting bikes made getting around quicker but you are able to walk everywhere. Worth getting a nice cold drink everywhere you go. We loved the many cats on the island.

    It is an all natural experience!

    It is an all natural experience! Walking around the islands, bare foot in sandy roads, eat in restaurants in the sand, swim in crystal clear waters and with the company of the turtles! It was amazing! But as in overall Indonesia, the trash issue needs to be considered urgently!!
