What an AMAZING place. The location, the nature, the wonderful staff, the food...I could go on and on. Everything was perfdxtand nothing was too much trouble. They treated us like royalty and always gave us free extras of different foods. I felt like family. The outdoor bathroom was extraordinary. The locations surrounded by 2 rivers was special and we could even swim in rhe river at a certain spot in the property. It was also at 25 minute walk to the exceptional Koli Koli Restaurant, which is a must- see ☺️.

-Very Clean -Amazing Staff including the manager -Great pool with stunning view -Location on top of a hill. Short walk to two main snorcheling points in Amed -We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 3 consecutive days. It was always prepared fresh and delicious. They not only serve indonesian food but also good western food, in case you crave pizza. -the private villas come with full equipped outdoor kitchen, a chill out area outside and room with AC. We had a great view over the ocean even from our bed inside. Overall, it was the best stay we had on Bali. Thanks to Anda Amed Villas and Team!

We booked a 2-bedroom villa with a garden view. The villa was perfectly clean, huge, with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a large kitchen. The terrace was absolutely perfect - a huge area for having a rest. The staff was very nice and polite. Helpful at any time. Originally we booked this villa for 3 nights only however, the area, accommodation and pool were so stunning, that we decided to extend our stay by 3 more nights. The pool was very clean and nice to swim in (1st half of the pool has shallow water - safe for children, the 2nd half of the pool has 1.8m depth). The garden is amazing. Wifi, air-conditioning, fans - working perfectly. Cleaning every day. Accommodation is just a few minutes of walk to very nice restaurants - we recommend Cafe Peoplepoint for meals and drinks. Lipah Beach is a nice and safe place for snorkelling with kids. We saw nice fishes and turtles as well. The medical centre (English-speaking doctor) is 3 minute walk from the villa. Laundry, supermarket, SPA almost the next door. Welcome drinks were waiting for us in the fridge. I highly recommend this villa for a stay. Everything was perfect.

    The hotel is located at Candidasa, it is very cosy and clean with the wonderful garden and water pool on the territory. The nearest beach where you can swim is just several steps down to the coastline and there is Candidasa beach 20 mins on foot, there are alot of shops and cafes in the vicinity. The hotel has 2 sets for breakfast which can fully satisfy you. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We booked a bungalow with the seaview, it was cosy and clean. In particular,I would like to draw your attention to the hotel stuff, these people were very polite and always were ready to help us with recommendations where to go and what to see around. Especially big thanks to Mrs Yeny and Mrs Komang, they were always eager to help us with any advice. I would strictly recommend you to have a stay here, you won't be disappointed definitely.

    Just a fantastic place. The China Villa is furnished with beautiful Balinese furniture, it has 4 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a beautiful outdoor area (a dining table for 10, a kid's table, a bed, 2 sofas, a huge sitting area, sun beds...), a kid's and adult's pool, just for the China Villa. It is right at the beach, but it's not so easy to enter the ocean because of the rocky beach. The service is just outstanding. Wayan, Made and Intan cooked for us and were just perfect.

    It was my third time at Candi Beach Resort & Spa, and they've been exceptional every time I've come here. The property has expanded a lot, they have multiple pools, a phenomenal spa, a lovely pool bar, a dive shop on the property, stunning views, delicious food (especially the Italian restaurant, Basil), and the loveliest staff. You'll always be greeted with a smile! I'll be coming back here whenever I'm in Bali, absolutely incredible resort!

    The location is sublime. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The whole place feels serene, warm, welcoming, and relaxing. You must do the one-hour walk through the rice paddies (it's free!). Wonderful pool, beautiful grounds. Walking distance o town and tasty restaurants. We give Subak Tabola our highest recommendation!

    The view is absolutely stunning! The infinite pool facing the vast ocean is just beyond words. We had breakfast everyday at the balcony facing the sea, and there is a little pathway directly from the hotel to the beach, where you can go snorkelling right a way.

    Loved Amed but was only there for 2 nights, would definately go back for longer. Beautiful people and amazing local food. Great spot if you dont want the hussle and bussle of Kuta/Seminyak or Legian. The black beach was gorgeous and the sunsets were amazing, Great place for divers/snorkelling and fishing.

    I have been to Bali many times and tell people "it's not all traffic, crowds and beach clubs; you will find that Bali you want to find" For me, that is Sidemen, which feels like Ubud 50 years ago. So lush and beautiful. I did a silver jewellery workshop, and the rice terraces trek. I wanted to go white-water rafting, but I am over 64 years old and they had no insurance coverage for someone my age. On a previous visit, I combined a few days on Gilli Air with a few days in Sidemen as it is close to Padang Bai. It is a great location for exploring central and east coast Bali. Traffic is not too bad. The climate is a littler cooler than the coast which makes a nice respite.

    Padangbai took me back in time to the Bali of old. Its quite rustic and primitive looking in parts. Most of the restaurants are quite old. We only ate at our hotel OK Divers Resort, where the restaurant and food was very good. NIce place to visit but only a couple of days at most.

    I have been travelling around Bali for some time and I have come to a conclusion. Bali is about Earth Energy and there are 4 elements in which it excels. Central Bali, Ubud and heading North for Jungle Energy....intense and slightly chaotic. The Peninsula for expansive Ocean Energy, connecting you to something bigger, and Rock Energy...grounding, stabilising. Then you have Candidasa. Candidasa is the Energy of the Hills, the Green Healing Hills. Take your bike off the main road and you will be driving closer and closer to the foot, then keep driving, up and up, for absolutely breath taking views of dense greenery with traditional structures scattered in the distance. Breathtaking.

The water is calm, visibility is great, and marine life is rich, from colourful coral to bumphead parrotfish. The famous USAT Liberty wreck is a must-see, accessible right from shore. It’s also a great place to learn diving – many friendly, professional instructors and dive centres around. Whether you're a beginner or ean xperienced diver, you'll love it here.     An off beat location, which is actually peaceful and great...

    An off beat location, which is actually peaceful and great for nature lovers, adventure seekers and history lovers. It is close to the mother temple of Bali (15 minutes), Blue lagoon diving and Snorkeling, p Pura Tirta and the most amazing rafting site. So a 3-night stay at this place is ideal to cover east Bali and then you can go to Ubud.

    It's a surfers paradise but not for us old couples. The place will be very nice if the owner take time to make it clean like clean sheets, new mattress with on bed bugs. The bathroom and toilets spruced up. Nothing much to see there except to surf and relax.

    Seraya is definitely a place to recommend. If you are looking for authenticity, pristine beaches (Virgin beach), local culture (Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Gangga Water Palace & Local Coffee Farm, etc.), you will definitely love the place!

    We stayed just one night to visit the Gates of Heaven.

    We stayed just one night to visit the Gates of Heaven. I feel is enough to see the surroundings and have a feel of the place. We found the tickets a bit expensive. I mean is a nice place but not to pay 10$. You can see Tirtagangga in 20 minutes, depending on whether you are an instagramer and you take selfies in every corner, then you can stay there for over an hour, although is very difficult to take good selfies as there are people everywhere. Around the entrance, there are a few restaurants and shops. But please I would say to the owners or whoever takes care of this place, tell people not to feed the fish. They are huge! and it's because the shops nearby sell food so you can take a picture with the fish.

    Amed was lovely, found some great eating places that were really reasonable. Gusto, Galangal, Warranga Amed with live music and fabulous hosts, Sunset view restaurant )the lower key more traditional one) the other Sunset view was too upmarket and commercialised. We loved riding around on the scooters and felt it was quiet enough to feel safe. Really enjoyed getting up into the hills from there to see the rural lifestyles.
