- From $205.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,689 reviewsWe came to Nusa Dua , Bali several years ago as a newly married couple and were keen to visit again. This trip was for our kids and for us to re live our honeymoon. After searching and comparing several hotels, we finalized Ayodya and this might be one of the best vacation decisions ever. From the time we entered the hotel gates till the time we look back at the hotel , it was magical experience. The Hotel front and Hotel Lobby are the largest & grandest you will ever see at any resort across the world. This hotel is the palace of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita hence the name Ayodya Palace. The welcome experience, the walk to the rooms, from the rooms to the 4 swimming pools, the beach, the restaurants was more than worth every single second and $ we spent here. The Swimming Pools are designed to keep you IN all day ! The hotel staff every where - welcome lobby, waterfall restaurant, the beach restaurant, the cleaning and house keeping staff, kids club, the lobby activities staff, the pool side folks including yoga and aqua instructors, are awesome. The breakfast spread has a lot for every one and not just a few selective items. There are multiple vegetarian options available for every one. Feel free to sit inside or the open. The Beach restaurant was amazing. We had consecutive lunch and dinners there. Very Peaceful & Ideal family time without digital devices The hotel has a great shopping arcade too in case you want to buy souvenirs for self or friends / family back home. Thank you for the Wedding Anniversary Cake and making our 2nd Honeymoon special. Thank you for a memorable New Year 2024 experience. I highly recommend families to consider this property and location . The beach is quieter and less crowded as compared to other places I saw. There are options for water sports but we didn't have time so maybe other visit, another time in future.Guest review byMohitIndia
- From $745.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsUmana and their staff are absolutely fantastic! I would stay here for every vacation for the rest of my life if I could. The staff were so kind and helpful; including our own concierge available via WhatsApp to help book travel, excursions, and services at the hotel. The pool was stunning, but our own villa even more so. We had panoramic ocean views that I just could not stop looking at; from our own infinity pool right through the glass doors to our room. I was on cloud nine!!Guest review byWiessnerUnited States
- From $848 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 187 reviewsWe stayed in the Cliff pool villa. Impeccable style luxury and the best possible customer service I have ever ever received. Augus, Teresa, Tri, Dwi and many more of the staff always helped us with a smile in their face. They sent some one over to take pictures for us for a small photo shoot we planned impromptu. Cliff bar is beautiful, Watu and Roca are all amazing places to eat in. Will definitely go back for more.Guest review byPrasanthIndia

The rooms are comfortable, but the location is not ideal for those seeking the vibrant energy of Bali. However, the beachfront location compensates for this.Guest review byMark LaurenPhilippines

Uluwatu is much more expensive and luxury compared to the rest of Bali. The place is under a massive construction renovation, there are construction site everywhere so it will be very different in a couple of years. We enjoyed our 4 days there but there is definetly less activities except for luxurious cliff restaurant and beach clubs.Guest review byAliceAustralia - 8.0
Great hotel in the middle of some lovely restaurants.
Great hotel in the middle of some lovely restaurants. Rooms are tired in need of upgrades and painting , but were clean and a very powerful shower. Staff were amazing and a good buffet breakfast with fresh omelette/pancakes. Pool area was relaxing and could do with a few more sunbeds. Didn’t get to the beach but a good shuttle service available. Supermarket and ATM just across the road.Guest review byJayneUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip...
Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip — it’s close to the airport and convenient for departure. I especially like the Sidewalk Shopping Centre, where you can find Western food, good coffee, and food giftsto take home. The fish market is also a highlight — it’s the only place where I trust eating local oysters, always fresh. The beach itself isn’t crystal clear like Melasti, but it’s clean and free from rubbish, unlike Seminyak or Canggu. For those who want to see a different, more local side of Bali, Jimbaran is a great choice. Just be careful when choosing accommodation — pick something near the beach and away from the main road, so you can walk easily and avoid the heavy traffic.Guest review byI.BettiblueAustralia - 10.0

Uluwatu is a great area in general and recently has evolved into quite more of not just a surf point but also a gastronomic and fashion center of Bali's top towns. A great place to come and take a vacation, all of the beaches are great and the great thing is that there's something for everyone.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle,...
Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.Guest review byKristinaCzech Republic - 8.0

Parts were lovely and the cliffs around the temple were amazing but be prepared for lots of traffic (especially scooters) so it takes a while to get anywhere and the public bits are a bit grotty. Couple of amazing places to eat (eg Nourish) and plenty of lovely massage options - we went to Zahra. Highly recommend going to a sunset dance performance - absolutely amazing!Guest review byNZ PennyNew Zealand - 6.0

Nusa dua was too isolated for family fun with young kids . We had divided our stay in Symniak and nusa but nusa was too far for evening life , food and fun activities for kids . We enjoyed Kuta and symniak area far more with lots to do for kids .Guest review bysaharAustralia - 10.0

Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!Guest review byhumphrey - 10.0
