This place is amazing! It's just one cottage on the cliff with a very nice reef for snorkeling just below. We had the whole place to ourselves and then the hosts came by to make us delicious lunch and dinner. We ended up staying for a week and just loved it.

Best option on Kaledupa, super nice room and amazing food. The owner is a gentleman very cool who speak good english and the family is very sweet. Possibility to rent a scooter and he has contact with the owner of a guesthouse in the Bajau sea gipsy village Sampela to live a wonderful experience of speargun fishing, snorkeling and true freedom and liberty. At this place you become part of the family right away, you are treated like a VIP: excellent food, constant care for all you need, love and affection, which is what counts the most in life. Room was not luxury, squat toilet (no seating), nice a/c, comfy bed with many pillows, bucket shower. Food was absolutely delicious, made to your wishes. A visit to the maritime market, and you end up with incredibly good fresh tuna or prawns cooked to perfection in your plate. At walking distance you have Sombu Dive, where you can do beautiful dives with a dive master. If you’re a musician you can play with Pak Sari and son. Mr Sari is a very accomplished and successful musician on the Wakatobi scene. Family are teachers, very educated people. I guess he also is an imam, very very respected from the Sombu locals. The children, and locals in general, are totally charming.
