- From $210.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,004 reviewsI found Andrew to be a wonderful manager. He was polite, friendly & professional. I would strongly recommend he be promoted or at the very least given a substantial raise. 5 stars for the management. Now as for the premises...Gorgeous! I walked the path down to the water each morning and found it simply stunning! I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfasts as well. The kind young fellow of Indian decent was just brilliant! He brought my breakfast to me as I have trouble getting around sometimes. He went out of his way to bring me a cappuccino and poached eggs with toast and sausage with orange juice. Now at this point I must interject my thoughts regarding the food. I was beyond impressed. The muscles were fantastic! It is also important to note the porter named Conor was wonderful bringing my bags to my room for me. Saving the best for last the young men who worked in the pub made me feel right at home with friendly banter and quick with a smile. Conner and Rory were the very picture of Irish hospitality!Guest review byAnnChina

Galway is a delightful city - charming older downtown in their Latin Quarter, delightful range of shops, restaurants, pubs and some fantastic coffee shops. We walked all over the Latin Quarter and thoroughly enjoyed our walking visit before heading off to continue our drive on the Wild Atlantic Way through Connemara. So glad we opted to spend a night to explore the city.Guest review byJuliaUnited States - 10.0

Athlone, for its size has some amazing restaurants and plenty of very good pubs. Good shopping options also. Centre is quite small so very walkable. Plus it’s right on the Shannon. Plenty to see and do. Well worth a visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Located in a cute little town, with a FANTABULOUS bakery...reminded us of the former quaint Door County,USA. So good to be able to shop small, independently run/owned shops. Walshes Bakery and the Little Tin Shop were highlights. Also enjoyed dinner (MUSSELS) at Mannion's. Unfortunately, due to weather and schedule, we were unable to explore further. If not so far away, would definielty visit again!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Beautiful setting, excellent facilities and great ambiance.
Beautiful setting, excellent facilities and great ambiance. Stayed with my parents and had a very relaxing time. Beds were very comfortable and the en suite facilities were great. Would to bring my grand kids and dog next time. Would definitely stay again.Guest review byJospephUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The National Museum of Ireland is just a few minutes drive away. Castlebar is ideally located for exploring County Mayo. The local library is excellent too with very friendly helpful staff who were only too willing to help with a little family history enquiry. We only stayed for one night and had our main meal in Lana, an Asian restaurant. The food was lovely and plentiful. So much so, we didn't bother with breakfast the following day.Guest review byGeorgeUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Ballina is like most towns or cities now.
Ballina is like most towns or cities now. Outside influences are starting to take hold. The addition of some of the fast food shops and multiple barbers is a manifestation I find worrying. The old charm of the town is not what it was.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Cleanliness in the room is first class.
Cleanliness in the room is first class. Furnitures are shiny and spotless up to the highest standard. Staffs were professional and welcoming. Friendly and very happy to help. From the moment we arrived in the hotel, the accommodation delivered on every promise of comfort and luxury. When we entered our room, the smell was lovely and refreshing, the bed looks so beautiful and comfy, room very clean and presented nicely and bathroom very clean and shiny. A special thank you to the staff Trixie and Jackie for making our stay so memorableGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Roscommon has several diverse pubs and restaurants.
Roscommon has several diverse pubs and restaurants. Breakfast tends to open at 09:00 and service ends about 21:00. Pubs stay open till 23:00 or so weekdays and 01:00 on weekends. The circle K is 24 hours. Some pizza places stay open and serve till 23:30. It has several men's and women's clothing shops. Pharmacies and gift shops. Other dry goods and a Supervalue and Tesco. It is a very walkable town and both the Castle and Old Abbey are a few walking minutes from downtown. We ate at the Cozy Cafe( closed Sundays), The Rogue Cafe and The Pantry for breakfast. All were very pleasant. We liked Ryan's Bar. Quietish and Michael was a great host/barman. We had dinner at Regans, Jackson's and China King. ~€100 for three adults with wine. We really enjoyed the walkable nature of the town. Especially, coming back to Tatlers Guesthouse after spending time at the pubs.Guest review byMatthewUnited States
