Galway is a delightful city - charming older downtown in their Latin Quarter, delightful range of shops, restaurants, pubs and some fantastic coffee shops. We walked all over the Latin Quarter and thoroughly enjoyed our walking visit before heading off to continue our drive on the Wild Atlantic Way through Connemara. So glad we opted to spend a night to explore the city.Guest review byJuliaUnited States - 8.0

Located in a cute little town, with a FANTABULOUS bakery...reminded us of the former quaint Door County,USA. So good to be able to shop small, independently run/owned shops. Walshes Bakery and the Little Tin Shop were highlights. Also enjoyed dinner (MUSSELS) at Mannion's. Unfortunately, due to weather and schedule, we were unable to explore further. If not so far away, would definielty visit again!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Cleanliness in the room is first class.
Cleanliness in the room is first class. Furnitures are shiny and spotless up to the highest standard. Staffs were professional and welcoming. Friendly and very happy to help. From the moment we arrived in the hotel, the accommodation delivered on every promise of comfort and luxury. When we entered our room, the smell was lovely and refreshing, the bed looks so beautiful and comfy, room very clean and presented nicely and bathroom very clean and shiny. A special thank you to the staff Trixie and Jackie for making our stay so memorableGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0

This B&B was a short drive to Galway city and offered a quiet refuge. We had stayed in the city for excitement and that was just fine but the Claregalway cottage was a welcome change -- the location was near to few businesses.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Really good value.
Really good value. Great location for exploring beautiful area. The dorm is really low priced but clean and comfy with room to store possessions. Kitchen rather under-equipped especially in terms of saucepan provision.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....Guest review byKarenIreland - 10.0

All this area has a beautiful landscape with a mixture of new and old, rural yet always near towns and villages. Easy access by main roads but also along quiet lanes. It's inland but only a short drive to the coast or Shannon waterways.Guest review byGordonIreland - 10.0

Loughrea is a beautiful small town with an amazing lake and hills surrounding it. You can really feel the Irish vibes there. There are many pubs serving lovely food, and Hope's Bakery is worth visiting for their homemade bread and cakes.Guest review byIwona - 10.0
Great little town, friendly and welcoming.
Great little town, friendly and welcoming. Lots of history, beautiful park and marked walk around the town. Free parking with plenty of space. Grocery store, butchers coffee shops, gas station, selection of great pubs and souvenir shops amongst others in the high street. Super little place.Guest review byLorraineCanada
