The atmosphere is very pleasant, with a colorful house and a courtyard adorned with many plants. The room was very clean (the best I've had in India) and had all the necessary facilities. But the place's greatest added value is definitely its owner, Devendra, whose kindness and helpfulness will make you feel right at home. He gave me lots of advice on visiting Keoladeo Park, and was very helpful and attentive when I fell ill, and even fetched me medicine from the pharmacy. The bird park is exceptional. So clean and a joy to be in.
The bird park is exceptional. So clean and a joy to be in. We saw sooooo many birds. Our guide Rinkesh was very knowledgeable and found so many birds for us. We also saw antelope, deer and a couple of jackal. We decided to walk and were up for the 06.00 opening. We covered about 10km on foot over 4 hours. Wear good shoes or boots if you are going to do this. Rinkesh carried a Japanese telescope with him which was just brilliant for the long distance birds.
