Everything was awesome, the food, the room, the cleanliness and location are all awesome. We loved the ambiance on our stay and what we loved even more is that the hotels care for hiring staff with learning disabilities like Down Syndrome or hearing disabilities. The Regenza by Tunga was the best hotel I stayed at on my trip to Mumbai in July 2023. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Nitu and Rahul, our receptionists who help us talk to drivers, uber and always do so with care and care so that they always know that we are protected in the city. They try to guide everyone who came to pick me up as well as those who took me somewhere for a walk. Drivers often don't speak English, but Nitu and Rahul speak many languages spoken in India and help foreigners a lot to get on and off at all times. The location of the hotel is strategic, it is easy to find near the station and close to major avenues for easy access to both Navi Mumbai and Mumbai. At reception I was looked after with excellence by Shraddha, Sanjana, Akram, Shubham and the lovely Vijay who carried my bags. They helped me with all my questions and were very careful, including helping me not to miss my boarding time on my return. They asked every day how my stay was going, if there was anything I might need and how they could make my experience more suitable. I've been alone, I'm female, single and I travel a lot in many countries, in many other hotels I've been in India, not all have protected me like The Regenza by Tunga. My room was impeccably maintained and made more cheerful every morning by the staff Amol, Firoz and Prachi, with whom I was able to share my days and activities on a daily basis. To the breakfast staff Tejas, Depak and Premisha, I'd like to thank you for the neatness of preparing my omelettes every morning for breakfast, to my liking. Thanks also to the kitchen, which at all times served my meals in the room, always with a treat, a flower, in generous quantities and ensuring that I was fully satisfied. Although I don't like pepper very much, every meal was carefully crafted for my well-being.

After the first night there, I booked into another hotel. I couldn't wait to get out of that depressing atmosphere. I had to stay in my room for a long time each day to work, but it was too depressing to be in such a dilapidated room. It was filthy & mattress worn out. Tiles were cracked. Do not waste your $ on such a filthy place. REceptionist doesn't understand English. I had to write it on a piece of paper for her to read. It is not a hotel set up for tourist. After the first night there, I went to the counter & barked at the receptionist, "Checking out. Not happy here." She asked me to see the manager, but I couldn't be bothered. I made it clear I would give them a poor review, for the room supplied was too appalling.

They have only one cook for all of us in entire hotel so what ever there in the menu card you can't get all items. Cook told me he can't prepare all items in one hand .So there is minimum choice of food and it seems they are under paid and no of stuff also less. We have to wait more than half hour for morning tea,Lunch and dinner because of less stuff.

Mumbai is a vibrant and bustling city, at times claustrophobic and not for the faint hearted. However, it is well a worth a visit and a unique experience. Fort in particular is a lovely area. It's easy to get by on the metro, with a new line being added that goes from the airport to the centre. Otherwise, uber is your best bet for an affordable taxi. The city is very loud and busy and there is not really a quieter area. But this is all part of the charm! We liked eating at anna idli and 100% veg thali restaurants. We also went to aram for a vada pav - must try in Mumbai!

Amazing place.

Amazing place. If you're traveling to Mumbai, makes more sense to stay here than in Mumbai or suburbs like Bandra or Andheri. Good roads, greenery and cleanliness are hallmarks of this city. Once yo see Navi Mumbai (Vernacular translation of The New Mumbai), the suburbs seem like backward areas.

It was fairly a clean area. The wall arts were a feast to travellers . Malls in this area were also well facilitated. However Railway station n premises were very unclean and slushy when rains. rain water draining system to be improved and these public areas to have more civil servants and volunteers to assist commuters.Public transport facilities to support night travellers to be improved!

It's a city area. Nothing fancy. There are many other good accommodation around the area. But the accommodation at hotel Townhouse Oak Blue Diamond is too shady and if you book online at a lower rate, they don't honor your booking. So best avoid it!!
