Amazing shikkara ride organised by host. We got to help prepare our food which was awesome as we haven’t yet made it to a cooking class. Amazing museum and shop attached to add to the cultural experience. Will be back to experience the new Ayurveda location that the hosts are opening soon! Great taxi also organised by hosts. Wonderful experience! The property is gorgeous and tranquil. It is far from the town of Alleppey, which meant we had to travel by tuk tuk to get anywhere (like to a kayaking trip), but the position allowe for it to be peaceful, have a remote feeling, and not be full of mosquitoes! The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast buffet, which was also very affordable. The service was also incredible. The staff was very kind and attentive. Most of all, we loved the amenities, like the pool, badminton court, and gym. We are a couple and enjoyed it very much, but saw lots of families enjoying their experiences too. Highly recommend! The room is beautiful and clean with private outside space, the location is quiet (waking up with the sound of birds) and the surroundings are simply stunning (we came by bicycle from Kochin and enjoyed every minute of cycling around), communication with the owner is very pleasant, the host made us feel really welcome and at home.
