We loved everything about the property. It is a family run hotel, and they all go out of their way to make sure that your stay is fantastic. The food at the restaurant is amazing. The room was absolutely incredible. It was one of the most gorgeous views. We only stayed two nights, but could have stayed a lot longer. We cannot recommend this place enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cristallo. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the spa is a wonderful place to relax. The location is perfect, close to Lake Braies and Ortisei. We spent 9 beautiful nights at the Dolomit Boutique Hotel! I simply felt  sharing this with the upcoming guests just because we had an amazing stay here and even though I planned this vacation for three years already, I never hoped to find such an amazing location! So let’s begin: we arrived here and initially it was a mistake that Booking made, we requested a room with balcony and Booking never let the property know about this! After our arrival and check in, the management, Mrs Inge and Yvonne did the impossible to fix this error and make our stay great! The location is amazing, within one hour, one hour and a half the most to everywhere in the Dolomites! The rooms are sparkling clean ( the cleaning lady is doing an amazing job)! The food at La Tor is absolutely delicious, prices are more than acceptable and the service is great! Now, the last and the best,  Yvonne...she is beyond words, she is lovely, funny, always with a big smile for everybody, she is unique! If you want to have the best vacation ever, if you want to enjoy every day and feel like everyone is your family, you have to choose Dolomit Boutique Hotel, ! These lovelely people are giving their hearts out to make every guest have the best time in this special place! Thank you so much Mrs Inge, Philippe and of course thank you lovely, amazing Yvonne!!! Absolutely loved our stay, and the hospitality from Michil, his family, and the entire team was a huge component of this. They go the extra mile to ‘surprise and delight’ guests. Our first evening we were invited to join Michil and his wife for wine and apps which was such an unexpected treat. Rooms were thoughtfully done, great outdoor sitting space, lovely sauna facilities and lots of options for drinks and dining. But Michil is the star, taking the time to connect with guests, offer hiking suggestions and generally just check-in and say hello. I would highly recommend and already thinking of how I can return!

    If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian food

    Colfosco is great for the views.

    Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries. The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites. While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.

    La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.

    I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.

    The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday.

    The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday. Unfortunately we came at the end of the season and SC and neighbouring villages were very quiet. The free bus service was a great help getting around the area and even as far out as to Brunico. Eating out in SC was limited but a great find was the restaurant at the campsite of Sass Diacia.

    La Vall is a good destination for vacations, but it is not a good choice for skiing because it is far from the ski lift and the ski bus does not go very often, so the journey to the ski lift takes a long time.

    Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.

    This small town is surrounded by Italian Alps which allow travelers to stay calm and peaceful mood. Convenient stores were available in the city center. It is easy to access to any hotel from main road to the edge of mountains. Location of this town is in between Ortisei and Cinque Torri which makes this town as stopover for a night for Dolomites pilgrimage. Of course, multiple night stay is also recommended. In summer time, air and temperature can refresh tired body and release stress. Highly recommendable with two thumbs up.

    La Villa is a great place to situate yourself in the Alta Badia region. I highly recommend it during the fall. The fall colors are GORGEOUS! Easy access to trails and a quick ride over to St. Cassiano, La Val and Corvara!
