The staff were very friendly, went above and beyond in providing our needs. They even prepared a surprise birthday cake, 2 glasses of champagne and a hand written card for my sister-in-law's birthday. We had a very wonderful experience and I cannot recommend it highly enough!!! Thank you everyone at Hotel Aurora for making our ordnary vacation become an extraordinary one! There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. A lovely little place with great amenities and activities for all. It is best known for it's hiking/walking paths, but it is also a bit of a mecca for cyclists.
