What an amzing place!
What an amzing place! We loved the city, the prommenades, the shopping, restaurants, and of course the beaches! We visited: Poltu Quato for a dinner at Tanit (definitely recommend), we visited beaches at: Spiaggia del Principe, Grande Pevero, and Rena Bianca, Rena Bianca was by far the best!Guest review byHusseinSwitzerland - 8.0
Lovely quiet Sardinian resort.
Lovely quiet Sardinian resort. Very good restaurants and snack bars. Great little harbour which holds local markets a couple of times a week. If you’re looking for a quiet break just to have a rest this is the place to go.Guest review byMags WardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Nice small and relaxed sea side town with good choice of restaurants. Lovely to stroll around, finish with a gelato and walking home. We loved Barracuda for its expert preparation of super fresh seafood and Blue Cobalto for its beautiful setting.Guest review byISABELLESwitzerland - 8.0

Giants Tombs and other archelogical site in the nearby area of Tenuta Pilastru are very interesting. Only 20 minutes drive to the Costa Smeralada, the worldwide renound resort, with amazing white sand's beaches and spectacular views, as well as Porto Cervo Village and its Marina, together with high-end shopping opportunities. Arzachena is a honest pleasent village, but with nothing really special to see...Guest review byFrancescoItaly - 10.0
Porto Rotondo is a lovely place.
Porto Rotondo is a lovely place. It is very exclusive and the food and drink prices reflect that. Don't go if you want to save money! The beaches are great and the sea is as clear as a bell. Lovely marina with some wonderful boats.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It is a picturesque town and has a good mixture of shops and eateries. Very easy to walk around and central location to visit the beaches and the north coast. It is expensive but the restaurant food, if you choose carefully, is excellent.Guest review byMackintosh - 8.0
The beauty of Santa Marinella is in the proximity to the...
The beauty of Santa Marinella is in the proximity to the best beaches of Costa Smeralda, but without the ridiculous price tag. Provided you have a car, the most beautiful beaches are 15-30 minutes away. Porto Rotondo with it's chick restaurants and lovely night atmosphere is 7 min driving. Famed "Lu Stazzu " restaurant that serves traditional Sardinian food, including porcheddo - fire roasted pig, is 7 min away. Keep in mind, the restaurants of Costa Smerlda book fast during the season. People dress up, especially women - I am talking evening long dresses :) Santa Marinella port is a walkable distance, but there is not much happening at night. The bottom line Santa Marinellla is cute, it is a pseudo Mediterranean style resort like village with lots of condos and small hotels. It is very pleasant and convenient to stay here, if you have a car. Two days stay.Guest review byJaneUnited States - 6.0
The location with beach and pool were lovely.
The location with beach and pool were lovely. The interiors of the apartment were poor. When we arrived at the unit we realized there was only 1 air conditioning unit in the main bedroom. The entire house was a sweat box. The guests in the second bedroom slept with a fan the first night and woke up to wet sweaty sheets. We complained and the host provided a portable A/C unit the next day. The rest of the house is about 95 degrees. You can't open the doors/windows because bees and insects will be swarming in. We had a fan running in the living room and it stopped running after day 3. A closet door in the hallway was broken and fell on my foot and had a lovely bruise. The hallway bath toilet water will spill on the floor when flushed and the shower door is about 8" from the toilet bowl. The second bathroom tub clogs and takes 24hrs to drain. The water will turn cold if 2 people are taking a shower at the same time. Cabinet doors in both bathroom/closets and kitchen are old and don't close/open properly. The kitchen is very narrow and allows for one person to be in that space at a time. It also has a fowl odor. Overall, I am disappointed with the poor facilities of this unit and it was NOT worth what I paid for. I could have stayed at 5 star resort on the beach w/breakfast and beach chairs included for half the price. Unfortunately, the pictures posted don't show the wear and tear of this place.Guest review byBARBARAUnited States - 10.0

Cannigone is a small quiet town with a very nice beach, not too crowded. Busy marina with lots of restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops. We have visited many times over the last 15 years and it is a nice place to walk around and sit on the beach or at the marina.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful scenery. The whole experience was lovely.
Beautiful scenery. The whole experience was lovely. People were very friendly. The nearby town of Cannigione was our go to for Food & Drinks. Well worth visiting. Porto Cervo was very disappointing, as it was full of expensive designer shops & it is a totally manufactured site. Not authentic.Guest review byBrendanIreland
